My driver’s side window needs to be reset every week. I have had numerous BMWs and Porsches with frameless windows that work the same way and never once did any of them need to be reset nor was it an issue that came up on those forums.
My 2-door is very loud. I found a lot of the noise was coming from the tires especially on the grooved concrete highways here in SoCal. Installing sound deadening and then a 3 in 1 sound insulation on the entire tub and the doors make a huge improvement. It was a real pain in the ass to...
Are you sure about that? Current Toyota's aren't built like the old 80 series. Hell the new Land Cruiser is a hybrid... hardly a simple platform. The new Taco seems to be having it's share of issues as well.
Land Rover actually provides a metal tube that goes to the bottom of oil pan. Just attach your vacuum extractor and change the easy to reach top mounted oil filter. It takes all of 5 minutes to change the oil.
Unfortunately the 2.3L oil filter is in a terrible location. I have considered...

I received the recall notice for my windshield. It seems they need to remove it and reinstall it. My windshield currently has a crack in it. Any guess how the dealership is going to handle this? Think they will cover the labor if I cover the part cost?
I actually haven't done anything to the top. Yes there is some wind noise but nothing compared to the road noise from the damn tires. If you remove the interior you will find that there is zero sound deadening material in the entire car. Take a look at this thread for more information and...
I totally disagree. Interior sound level is absolutely quantifiable. It also matters what what bronco trim level you have and what roads you drive on have an impact.
I have a 2.3L BaseSquatch which means that I have the least about of sound deadening from the factory, the loudest tires and...
As a 2-Door owner, I don't have a horse in this race. The bolt together design makes sense to me even if it is only for shipping reasons. If all you had to do was bolt the two sides and the rear glass to the main roof than you wouldn't have two many complaints. However, installing all the...
