What you are doing is amazing. it would also be amazing to learn that a 2005 kia sportage has a stronger TRE than my Bronco Sasquatch…. Come on FORD!
Any worries about the load on those front mounting plates? Everyone else seems to be using straps under the top but I'm not a fan of the way they rub on the top seals. Your mounting point are much better but I wouldn't want to pull that front metal bracket out of the hardtop.
I completely removed my swaybar. Yes it has more body roll and yes it doesn't handle as well on canyon roads but it isn't a sports car and who is pushing it that hard on the pavement. I suppose that it could get interesting in a freeway emergency situation but It drives much much better off...
Ford's customer IS the dealership. It is the dealership that pays for not you. As such, they are just trying to keep their customer happy. We are a secondary thought. We are needed to create pull through for their distribution model.
Have them swap wheels with one on their lot. I'll bet it is the crappy Goodyear tires. I want to put something else on but don't feel like spending the money.
1. It is badly over sprung for normal driving. The spring rates are fine for blasting through the dessert But they need to do something to soften first few inches of travel.
2. They needed to offer a real all terrain with the Sasquatch package. Maybe the BFG’s that they put on the badlands...
These are exactly what I'm looking for but you don't have them for my 2-door. I'll drive my Bronco to you and you can use it to prototype the 2 Door versions. I'll even pay full price. Come on and take my money and my bronco.
I'm running the front tires at 34 and the rear at 32 psi. This isn't a shock issue but rather a spring rate issue and more specifically a balance in spring rates between the front and rear. As stated the winch and sway bar delete are making it more obvious. I wouldn't ditch the factory sas...
Does anyone else feel like the rear of their Bronco is too stiff? I have a 2 door Sasquatch which means that I'm damn near sitting over the rear axle. 2 Doors will certainly feel it more than the longer wheelbase 4 door. I also have a RC hidden winch up front and have removed the front sway...
