That’s right where I wound up just about. I’ll be a shade under $50k (about $30 bucks) for a 4dr BL setup the way we want but I factored in the price offset we’re expecting from using Granger Ford with X plan discount ($1300 under invoice).
Worried? No. As mentioned check your spam as that’s where all my Ford stuff ends up. Also, bear in mind they may be staggering the release of the emails and are likely not sending one to every single reservation holder.
The Squatch is $5k period (per the info we have). You’ll see when BNP is available that if you have a manual trans build going when you select the $5k Squatch option it will bring up an error screen where it says you need to remove manual and add A10 and will say price difference +$6600.
It will transfer power to the front wheels automatically as needed depending on Goat mode and wheel slippage. Once it detects equal speed you’ll be back in 2wd with the system ready to go on demand with no driver input.
Two very different routes, while still capable I feel the OB models put the off roading as a lower priority (running boards that hang down to smash every rock/stump, painted flares that will be paintless after you graze something the first time) and the BD model is a bonafide wheeler right out...
Not on the Badlands, will be daily driven so can do without the mud terrain noise, already has the same suspension with extra travel (minimal but true), and the difference in rear gearing is negligible. I would have gotten it on a lesser trim model but the BL with the 33’s will work for me.
I find it rather odd that Ford would decide to make the auto standard on only the 4 door base model, where BB, BD and BL trims all list the auto as optional. Time shall tell, in the meantime we shall agree to disagree.
You’d notice for passing maneuvers on the highway more than anything but it’s not really a deal breaker in my opinion. Also Ford makes a warrantable tune for the Ranger 2.3 that gives it nearly identical power as the V6 and maintains 50 state legality. Sure they’ll do it for the bronco. And 5...
I’m going Badlands and intend on sticking with the 33ATs. Would have went squatch with any lesser trim level but not needed for the little bit of difference you get on the BL trim.
If pricing holds, this pretty much settled it for us. 4dr Badlands, 2.3, auto, standard 33AT wheel/tire setup and the Lux package. Things like the tow package, tops etc will be later decisions but those are all minor.
Yes sir. Which is actually backwards in today’s vehicle line ups. Technically the automatic is the new “standard.” But manual is the cheaper option so for this VEH it’s back to being the standard trans option.
Well let’s take a look. So they have the product we all want and are the ones to set the price... so yeah, not much leverage as a consumer. Of course, you can join the list of people who say they’re not buying one now for whatever reason, but I can guarantee you that will have zero affect on...
I think that’s one of the things those emails won’t be able to tell us is if the trans is factored in. I would assume not (Badlands trim as an example $2500 for the wheels tires AND trans would be a bargain) but only BNP will tell.
