im not sure that’s correct because when he got into the order system it still showed I had a MOD top on my order. My concern is that as long as my order still shows a MOD top it will never convert to a production date.
I think that’s the case as well, but what is bothering me is I can’t get my dealer to email me (or hand me in person) an updated copy of my order preview (which I got when I converted my reservation to an order).
UPDATE: The order definitely does not automatically convert.
Just went into my dealer and demanded to speak with someone who could actually update my order. They then told me that it was too late to update orders and the system was locked out. I preceded to lose my sh!t!!

thanks! I have a Area 51 First Edition ordered so that should give me a great idea of what to expect. Too bad neither have a hard top though...I was really looking forward to seeing what the MIC looked like in person before I finalize my decision to forego the MOD top.
I don’t understand why they don’t just change them all to MY22. No need to change any delivery dates, just designate the first Bronco off the line as a 2022 instead of a 2021. That way all FEs will be from the first model year but you can still choose to wait for a black MOD top.
