Yes, definitely. But the other (better) low profile 10" sub from JL is not compatible. I was going to swap and sell the TW1 on eBay.
Here's my Mobridge amp installed.
FYI, the 10TW3 is NOT a drop in replacement for the 10TW1. It isn't close.
I probably should have consulted the dimensions first. 🤷♂️. I just assumed they shared the same basket assembly.
@kcbronco I do have the template. I will scan and upload it here today unless it's too big to scan.
I'm swapping the driver for a 10TW3 (arrives today). Once that is done, I'll work towards reinstalling the panel. I did a quick test fit yesterday without snapping anything in... Gonna be tight...
I'll be mounting my mobridge amp to the same place JL recommends mounting the stock amp. It's a little bigger than the stock amp, but it will fit with their mounting plate (and maybe some minor modification.
Depending on the size of the amp, possibly under the rear seat. I have a separate amp...
The driver has an integrated grill, so it wouldn't matter in that respect. Might have an impact on the driver somewhat with less free air flow to the front. But might not be a huge issue.
Got my JL Stealthbox a few days ago.
Here's how it compares to the stock BO sub.
Some dimensions for anyone curious about fitting another driver in here.
Pretty minimal stuffing for a sealed enclosure. I added some additional polyfil.
I think the stock enclosure did a better job of...
Picked mine up a few days ago. Been test fitting/experimenting.

You are doubling the tweeters in the front stage, which could be contributing to the experience of brightness. It also likely impacts the soundstage.
You might consider replacing the coaxials in the kick panels with midwoofers instead. Or find a way to low pass the signal to those drivers.
Interesting. I don't have mine yet, but it might be worth sharing your vehicle details. Year, 2dr/4dr, base or BO system? If base, did you get the sub or the dummy sub?
And if you don't mind pulling the driver... I'd love to know the inside diameter of the opening as well as the space from the...
I just looked and somehow I neglected to take pictures after trimming the material. I'll grab a snap or two if I ever pull one out.
I had to remove a lot of plastic. Enough that it was a challenge to leave enough material to properly support the slots that receive the clips that hold it in (my...
The BM-11 is quite interesting. I provided a little 3d modeling design help to Nick for the BM-MKV. The S-surround design is really neat.
I need to get the Stealthbox in hand to get some measurements before making any decisions. It might be possible to add a mounting ring/spacer to increase...
Time for a brief update.
I'll add some pictures of the installed tweet/mids at the end. Blends in perfectly from normal seated angles. Look closely and you can see my modeling clay work wasn't perfect, but I'm satisfied.
More importantly, I've finally got this thing dialed in with EQ and it...
Definitely harder to shape this clay in reality than I was imagining. Maybe I could have chosen better tools than plastic knives.
Let it dry overnight. Did some wet sanding this morning, followed by a few coats of matte black.
Results are... good enough for me, but far from show quality...
I warned the documentation would be mild...
Amp is plenty powerful for these three ways, and more than needed for the factory sub.
Lots of end of school year distractions and kid stuff lately. But we hit the road for a southwest road trip in a few days and I'm finally doing the dirty work to...
FYI, the JL dealer I had reached out to after this thread was created got back to me this morning. He received an email from JL and is now accepting pre-orders. 4-6 week timeline.
