I had my fender sticker removed and liked the clean look so I never put them back on or ordered anything else. My daily drivers have been debaged for decades and I might even remove the rear Bronco logo. It’s not like anybody but the most clueless have a hard time identifying it as a Ford...
Honestly my off-roading with the Bronco in MN is moderate at best. Mostly fire roads/state trails to hunting spots or running across snow packed frozen lakes like the one in front of our house. If I was still living in the Sierra Nevadas near the Rubicon trail with all my Jeeping buddies, I’d be...
I wouldn’t unless they offered the Ford Lion 3.0 diesel or a V8, neither of which is going to happen.
I am a likely buyer of a 2026 Scout EV assuming they do a decent job with the styling, it’s capable off-road, and it’s about the same size as a Bronco. We’ll see if in 3+ years I’m still...
Certainly worth it on the 2.3L and I’m debating on my 2.7L. It certainly won’t be a fast vehicle with all that mass and only 355hp and 433 lb/ft of torque but it’s always fun to have a bit more. :)
My sentiments exactly. 40 years ago we were doing trips 10-15 days long into the Canadian/MN BWCA wilderness with just tents, some food, and canoe paddles and our feet to move us 20+ miles each day. Navigation was with paper maps and a compass and obviously cell/sat phones were not options...
I ordered some floor mats and pod lights to go along with the 315/70 Wildpeak AT3W’s that will get installed as soon as my wait is over. It’s been sitting at a rail yard 25 miles away the last week along with 13 other Broncos that my dealer is expecting any day now.
7/20/20 reservation with...
I’m excited to get my Eruption Green one in the next week if they can ever get it loaded at the rail yard and moved the final 25 miles.
These greens would look good.
It was built 11/22, chip hold until I got the built email from Ford 12/05. Sat at MAP waiting for a rail car until early January, arrived in St. Paul MN 25 miles from my dealer on 1/18. I’m still waiting for delivery but I’ll guess another week or ten days.
First week reservation ordered 1/29/21.
Don’t bank on it being a few weeks. My original build week was 11/14, was moved to 11/21, blend date 11/22, modules popped 11/23. Still waiting as it sits at a rail yard 25 miles from dealer the past 8 days. For most others recently it has taken 6+ weeks after their modules populate. 70+ day...
It's not that the B&O factory amp has too much power; it's the distortion when the amp is clipping that kills the voice coil. The factory B&O amp is not a high end amp and clips rather easily when you crank it up.
My blend was 11/22 and my built email was 12/05. Mine has been sitting at the rail yard in St. Paul MN just 25 miles from dealer for a week. Ford did send me my baby picture yesterday just 62 days after my modules popped. Any day now, lol.
7/20/20 reservation 2.7/lux/Sasquatch and other sins.
Full disclosure, I worked for 3M in the Automotive/Marine Division for the last 20+ years of my career so I know more about applications for boring products like double-sided tape and adhesives than anyone should. :) I’m happy to answer questions or offer opinions about those or other car...
No over thinking here, when mine showed up with the cheap plastic keypad, my big brain told me to immediately remove it with some fishing line and relocate it under the gas cap where I didn’t have to look at it.
All the best. :)
The correlation is that moldings are much heavier and that stick on crap keeps them attached for decades so they will also work on a lighter, smaller items like a remote on a car door. Lots of things on the Bronco are cheaply made plastics so that shouldn’t surprise anyone.
Your words of...
You do realize that the body side/door moldings have been attached with tape for decades?
FWIW, it’s easy to relocate to under the gas cap if you don’t like the looks.
