Ugh... Probably my favorite looks of the steel bumpers made so far, but I've always known that ADD is proud of their hardware.
They are VERY proud of these bumpers.
Now there's an issue I never run in to. The top of my Miata is almost never up. I've had spider infestations, bird poop attacks, rain, so much dust and humidity, and just about every other "convertible problem" you can have.
But I've never had mine taken over my moths. My solution would have...
Every soft top I've seen has been like that as well. That's that tricky spot where the slide rail meets the C-pillar flap. I don't think it is anything to worry about, more of just a small annoyance.
I guess keep us in the loop after you get it sorted out with ForScan. Were you ever able to physically locate the wire on the rear bumper for the rear fogs?
If you get hate from Jeep owners, they either have angry grilles or want to put one on.
And we all know that angry-grille Jeep owners' opinions are invalid.
Ford is absolutely making me chose something I don't want: Rapid Red or MIC top. I wanted both, but since my reservation was "late" (7/26/20), I don't have a chance in hell to see a MIC Rapid Red Bronco from the factory. I would have been more than happy to wait my turn just like everyone else...
Don't get your hopes up with the below invoice dealers, they have a lot of well-informed customers that know how to configure their Bronco in a way to get them sooner.
What you need to do is find a dealer that has more allocations than build-able orders. It's hard, but it's out there. I was...
Cost prohibitive and the latest news is that while the wires are there in the engine bay, the wiring by the sunglasses holder is not present.
TL;DR: use aftermarket options.
The after-sale purchase of all hard tops (MIC or Modular) has been pushed until 2023 calendar year, at least that was the last timetable that Ford has given us. Ford did say on their live stream (back when they announced that the MIC tops are all getting replaced) that they're working on...
M2DZ-11654-CA Should work with High/Lux
M2DZ-11654-BA Should work for Mid and maybe Base
We haven't confirmed that it is a sure thing yet, but a member or two has one on order and they're going to be the test mice.
@flip it looks like there's a pre-run circuit for rear fogs and you can get a headlight switch that has a front and rear fog lamp switch. With a little tweaking in ForScan it looks like fog lights can be added to Mod bumpers (since the wiring is already there) and rear fog/spots/ambers can be...
