My comment wasn't aimed towards you, it was aimed towards Diode Dynamics. The style you use can be tricky at times since the solder won't always fully melt, but are otherwise fine.
DD used just a plain-jane unsealed butt connector. That's corrosion city in an engine bay, and a ridiculous place...
There may be some valid reasons (not passing safety regulations is NOT one of them...), but personally I just don't think that Ford initially saw the business case to design and engineer a factory soft top for the 2-door. Obviously, that decision would have been made LONG before the situation we...
Scotch locks. Tons and tons of Scotch locks. 😂😂
But seriously, never use these anywhere. They're a one-way ticket to problems. I wish they could be outlawed.
As far as unsealed but connectors, they can be just as damaging to wiring if used in an outdoor environment.

The grille you're thinking of is the Heritage grille. We knew what the Raptor grille was going to be the whole time.
Base/Black Diamond
Big Bend/OBX
Badlands/Wildtrak/FE
Heritage

I'm leaning towards Race Red if either of my orders don't convert. It looks like hot garbage on most Ford cars, but really seems to pop on the Bronco for some reason.
Those are the "tall and wide" lights, required for vehicles over 80" in width (excluding mirrors). The F-150 Raptor, Ram TRX, and '22 Tundra TRD Pro need them for the same reasons.
Yes you would, but Ford has stated numerous times that they will not move converted orders to new dealers. The process goes like this: You make a new reservation at a new dealer, the call center manually adjusts the timestamp on the new reservation to reflect the old one, and you call the dealer...
I'm pretty sure you'd have to just make a new reservation entirely, but there have been a few fringe cases where people have been successful. Most of those were people that had their reservation converted to an order without permission, though.
What dealer in NC? Did you make sure to get the...
If you don't know what you're doing, get it to someone that does. Check engine lights can be anything from a software glitch to an engine about to tear itself apart. You don't know unless you pull the codes with an actual code reader. They don't just pop on for no reason, either. Trying to "shut...
Go get your Bronco and don't ever go back. Dealers make money off of the back office, parts, and service, not the sale of cars themselves. Do whatever it takes (getting your own loan, for example) to spend as little time in the back office as possible. Never return after that.
