  1. Michael Galvan | In Loving Memory – 1984 Bronco Bullnose 4x4 XLT 351 Windsor Rebuild

Did your dad ever mention what he would have liked done to it?
  2. Imogene Pass Feburary 2025 Update - San Juan Mountains, CO

You may want to subscribe to Ouray County Alerts to get road and other updates while you are up there. Emergency notifications
  3. Imogene Pass Feburary 2025 Update - San Juan Mountains, CO

We go to Ouray a couple of times a year as we have a 2nd home there. Imogene is at or near the top of the list of my favorite trails. Most trails near Ouray are south of Ouray and on the east side of 550. Most of those go to Silverton or Lake City or loop back. Imogene is on the east side of...
  4. BBR - 6 Broncos 0 waves

Same issue when we had our FJ Cruiser. It's a Jeep thing. Not Toyota or Ford. Although I do occasionally forget what I'm driving and accidentally wave. When we had the Scout there were really no other Scouts to wave at but got a lot of thumbs up from folks.
  5. New BRaptor

Yes I did. And switched out the front door holders to also hold a drink. One of my grandsons really wanted our Rubi and then we let him drive the braptor. Told him to hit it and git it and now he has a new favorite.
  6. Brakes failure

On a side note. May want to take it out to some back roads and practice how to stop it without using the brake pedal. Down shifting, e-brake, etc. For me I prefer a manual emergency brake that I can engage by pulling a lever or pushing a brake pedal. because finding the little e-brake toggle...
  7. Exterior modifications to my two door Bronco heritage.

Had an 80's Bronco with the 302 and I don't remember it having any badge indicating the motor size. What I do know is that the engine was still going strong when it had over 200k miles on it and I sold it. Not that much luck over the years with smaller displacement high rpm motors. Don't seem...
  8. Taltyman

    North Texas Bronco Club

    Looks great
  9. Hood Deflector really work?

Same issue with our Jeep and already have 2 cracks in our Braptor at 15 months. Ours also had a window film installed. That didn't seem to help. They only list Bronco as an option so not sure it would even fit a Braptor. At $89 it may be worth a try.
  10. Polished Wheels Thread - Retro Look

I like this one best but with either the wheels that Shanut posted, or possibly white steely rims. Maybe a white top as well like my avatar. Love to do something but I have no money left over after buying mine at $95k.
  11. 2023 braptor abs sensor failure -- UPDATE - rear axle failure

2023 picked up in November 2023 so have had it about 15 months.
  12. 2023 braptor abs sensor failure -- UPDATE - rear axle failure

Haven't had that happen on our Braptor at almost 25k miles.
  13. Can we come up with a color recommendation for future Broncos?

We have code orange braptor and love it but would have preferred to have it in the heritage robin's egg blue. Would be closer to my old Scout in my avatar.
  14. New 2024 Braptor - Broken

I have a 23 Braptor 24k miles. No issues other than windshield cracks. My 2016 Jeep on the other hand has had almost everything replaced at least once. 3 engines, transmission, axles, driveshafts, radiator etc. At least it has a lifetime Mopar warranty which is the only reason we still have it.
  15. I don't know what I don't know

I absolutely hate trying to find that brake. I have to practice using it occasionally to make sure I stay familiar with it in an emergency. While driving the e-brake switch is not easily visible so I think finding it in an emergency may be difficult. I'd prefer the hand pull on the console...
  16. Front Plate drilled into painted trim piece…

I'm in Texas and used the Sto N Sho adapter. It uses existing bolts and has a quick detach if you want to remove for off-roading.
  17. $50 OFF Windshield Protection Film - NOW $149USD

We had a similar product installed on our Braptor at dealer. 2 cracks in 1 year or less, plus due to one wiper being at a non-vertical angle the wiper blade action scuffed the film and reduced visibility. The only reason I purchased it in the first place was a warranty with a $200 deductible...
  18. Dealer made me sweetheart deal on their last 24 Braptor - $30k off with a catch...

Have a Braptor, love it. Paid MSRP as it was still rare when we got it. Our dealer is advertising $25k off on a Braptor right now. so $30k is better but maybe not enough to do the swap. They are both definitely different beasts. Good luck on your choice.
  19. Rough Country hidden winch

Have a winch on our Jeep and have done all the trails around Ouray Colorado and a little at Moab. Same thing for our Bronco but no winch on it. The only time I've used the winch is around the house to pull stuff. Don't think I'm going to go to all the trouble to install one on our Braptor...
