Two worst things you can do *AFTER* a purchase of a car:
1) Go down the rabbit hole of reviews of your make and model; and
2) Research and/or ask if you paid too much.
It's yours. Fugghedaboud the price and go sit in your car and enjoy the new car smell.
I'd have Ford fix it.
Paint jobs can be matched. Doing so is not rocket surgery. Had a Q5 about four years ago with a bad hood. It was fixed and no one will ever know the difference.
Interestingly, I got 20.65 MPG* going mostly on interstate for 330 miles last weekend. My cruising speed was between 75 - 78 (adaptive cruise control).
*Actual MPG, not the dash board estimate, which in the first thousand miles I have found to be about 1 MPG higher than actual. I have a four...
Going 90 in a Bronco and not knowing? Ha! What other cars do you drive?
I have an Audi A7 and a Lexus LS460. Going 90 in the Bronco is very noticeable relative to the Audi or Lexus. The latter two glide over the highway and are relatively quiet at that speed. And I've had both going much...
Unfortunately, like most other things now, EV's have become highly politicized. The advocates and naysayers are almost tribal.
EVs have their place, mainly for commuting within a city. Driving across America or towing, no, they will never be as efficient and convenient as an internal...
Interesting timing on this thread. My daughter's Bronco (a sport) died last week after 2.5 years. Came to a complete stop, with a number of system warnings. Turns out it was the battery. Kind of a short life for the battery.
I wonder if the auto stop/start stresses the battery...
Uhhh… the issue is between the dealer and ford.
There is no purchase to “bounce.” The purchase is done. You have the car
They screwed up and it is on them. Get your other fob.
Don’t let them bs you
I have a very large 1/8" sheet of black plastic. I'm thinking of making some flaps for the front of the OBX equipped with a factory running board.
The plastic is easy enough to cut to fit, and I made a *very rough* cardboard prototype. The cardboard is also 1/8" thick.
If you have feedback...
I got the four door.
Subjective/practical reasons:
1) I like the extra range with the 20.8 gallon tank. We have another place about 335 miles away, and even with the non-SAS tires, the two door with the 16.9 gallon tank would be at the edge of its range (on interstate 16 and 95 in south...
Yes, on that we agree.
But I doubt the dealership will litigate. That would be a money loser for a few thousand dollars. Instead, they will probably have a meeting with the floor associates and make sure their people know the ins and outs of their own k's so it doesn't happen again...
No, I don't think that advice has near as much weight as the other advice in the thread. Funny though, I'll give you that.
Not everything requires a few billable hours for an attorney. Think about it - the attorney reads the contract, tells him there's no way the dealer can require him to...
I think the dealer will simply back off when you refuse. This happened to me about 25 years ago. I said no. Dealer knew they were stuck.
1) You have a signed contract.
2) You have possession of the vehicle in exchange for the required payment.
3) There is probably a statement in the...
My HPR OBX 2.7L. I got a red bronco because the first car I drove was a 1978 Red Bronco like the one below the picture of my new Bronco.
When I first saw the HPR on the lot when I came to pick up the Bronco, it looked like burnt orange (you can see a hint of that in the glint of the sunlight...
