If you are looking for a paid tour, Dan Mick is the tour legend in Moab.
Dan Mick's Guided Tours.
He has been there forever, knows all the trails, mild to wild and know all the history too.
That's my Bronco with the prototype.
We've used it quite a few times now, very nice.
It supports a lot of weight too.... Eric from the Trail Recon web store checking it out.
We "settled" for the soft top on both our Broncos and have been very surprised with how nice the soft tops are.... in general.
The biggest kudos to the soft top... we got both our Broncos pretty fast. The Base model in July and the the Base Squatch in December.
They are very quiet compared to...
Yep, PowerTanks are fast. Especially if you install their Monster valves in your wheels.
You can run air tools with the bigger compressor too, though you'll want to add an air tank into the system.
The two best thing about the PowerTanks are the speed and the portability.
The two best things...
When I made my reservation, the online page said that it would be refunded by the dealer when you purchased the vehicle. I reminded the dealer when we went through the paperwork and they refunded it.
Here is the ARB twin compressor airing up a 37" tire under a Wrangler JL, it's comparable in size to the Bronco, so should give you a good idea time wise.
Power Tanks are great and very useful because they are portable.
That said, if you have a hard mounted compressor in your Bronco, you'll never forget to bring it or forget to have it filled.
The wife is consistently getting 18.5 to 19 mpg with her bone-stock Base-Squatch with the 2.7 V-6. Last week she drove extra grandma-ish and pulled 20 mpg.
However, on Saturday we got it out on the Interstate and did a 400 mile round trip at 70-80 mph and we ended up dropping down to 17 mpg...
I gave my flag to Brad on our sales staff at @Northridge4x4. He is our go-to guy for info on Bronco parts if you call in (though all the others can help too).
It might have made his day, he is all smiles.
I too, love the cloth seats. Maybe not as carefree as the marine grade or leather would be, but they are warm up fast on cold mornings and are not scalding hot on a hot day.
Will probably install some seat covers from PRP or Bartact if/when they become available.
