I do not want a used one. I understand the depreciation once you leave the dealer and all of that but I want the satisfaction of taking delivery of a brand new Bronco.
That's what I'm hoping for. I'm guessing that a V6 Badlands with the high package will be pretty common on the dealer lots, but they will likely have a bunch of other things added to them that I do not care for. This is why I am leaning towards ordering one with the exact configuration I want.
I assure you I won't be changing my mind. A Bronco was my first vehicle when I was 15 and I've been waiting for a new one since the rumors started years ago. I could swing getting a base model right now but do not want to compromise. I also seriously doubt that there will be any year old close...
My family CFO (wife) has run the numbers and we will be able to afford to take delivery of our no compromise Bronco late 2022 / early 2023!
It will be a 4 door non squatched Badlands with the 2.7, MIC top and high package.
How should I proceed?
Can I place a reservation but delay the actual...
Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear about it getting sold without your knowledge. Also thank you for your service!
Coincidentally I happen to have a 1969 Datsun 2000 roadster in the family:
It's waiting in line with several other classics to be restored once my dad retires. The first in line...
Yes they absolutely count even though there is a lot of unfounded hate towards them. One could even argue that they are more related to the new Bronco because they both share the Ranger platform!
I will edit my original post with a note that Bronco II's count.
Thanks for all the replies and great pictures/stories so far! Sounds like I'm not the only one who misses their Bronco and can't wait to be behind the wheel of a new 6G.
Its also pretty exciting that this vehicle is getting so much interest from people who have never owned a Bronco before...
This was discussed a while back and someone linked to this Ranger thread:
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/terrain-management-upgrade.4901/
They basically figured out how to add the terrain management feature to the lower trim Rangers using a factory knob/switch and some forscan...
Wow that is a lot of Broncos. Nice to know that a moderator has this level of experience with these trucks. Just one of many reasons why B6G is such a great place.
Thanks for letting it slide. Now that you mention it I do remember a similar poll but it was definitely a while back.
I thought...
Manual seats for me!
All power seats WILL eventually fail and can be very difficult to replace depending on what position they got stuck in. Try unbolting the seat rails when the seat failed and is blocking access to those bolts.
I have worked for several independent shops and have replaced...
Thanks for pointing that out. I normally don't notice the avatars because it seems they usually aren't the members actual vehicles.
Nice rig! I always liked the 1st gen explorers and thought they were pretty underrated. Looks like 33's? I have a 92 ranger 4x4 with a 2" lift and 31's and it...
Nice! At first I thought your reply was sarcasm, but then I thought to myself "what is the closest vehicle to a 4 door Bronco II"
They both essentially shared the Ranger platform so that's pretty close.
I know polls aren't necessarily popular around here but I have been curious how many forum members are new to Broncos and how many have owned or currently own a Bronco.
My first vehicle was a 1985 Bronco XLT Blue/White with the 5.8. I absolutely loved that truck and it survived my abuse through...
Thank you @BroncoSarge
I've been looking for this for months hoping they would show up. Just got back from an NC Walmart and was able to find a few there.
I'm probably in the minority here but I am generally not a trusting person. I plan on doing everything myself unless I absolutely have to bring it to the dealership for warranty or recall work.
I was an ASE Master/L1 tech in a previous life and the quality of work I witnessed by...
Congratulations! Sounds like an awesome build and awesome wife. Having your wifes support makes all the difference.
I'm not a reservation holder (we'll be getting ours sometime in 2023), but I am one of the lucky ones with a wife who understands what this Bronco is all about. It was even her...
