Moves like this happen all the time. I went through the deregulation of power generation in my state. We in generation went from a public utility to a "stand up by yourself" company that wasn't subsidized by the public through rate increases from the PSC.

I put a straight edge across the back of both (Outer Banks, Badlands) wheel/ tire combinations and measured to the mounting face and subtracted the difference.
That's how I came up with the 7/16".
I couldn't even get the bottom lug nut to start without modifying the rubber bumpers.
That sounds about right, I went the other way. I went from an Outer Banks spare to a Badlands spare and calculated I needed the cut 7/16 off of those (Outer Banks) bumpers for the Badlands tire to fit.
Thanks for the links TD!
IMO, it amazes me why folks remove them from one set of tires to another instead of just buying an extra set of sensors. It costs a lot more to mount and balance a tire let alone the damage that could be incurred when the tech has to monkey with it.
Welcome to the forum!🥳
Another thing to think about is which gears will you be running on your Outer Banks, 3.73's or the optional 4.27's? The 4.27's will be better with bigger tires but I wouldn't hesitate to run something in the 33" diameter range with the 3.73's.
While not cheap, I'll be getting these (when available) when I pop the first one.

RCV has a very good reputation also.
On paper, the diameter of the Badlands 285/70-17 tires is approximately 3/4" taller than the OBX stock tires. Which is a 3/8" radius so the Badlands should only raise the Bronco 3/8".
Here's my contribution to the thread.
I thought so too!
I ordered a tailgate table Wednesday morning, it arrived Thursday morning and I installed it by lunchtime.😲(y)
With today's gas prices I would have spent more than $7.95 to drive to the Ford dealership.
Nice job! I always like to see what other welder/fabricator types are doing.
I'm glad you kept one level surface (near the wheel well), you know, to set a beer or other beverage on. ;)
