Wax may help prevent the scale but will not remove it. I've tried many products, even took it to a professional detailer. He could get it off the paint but it seemed like it was etched in the glass.

Agree 100%. There were 2 things that was a "no brainer" when we ordered our OBX. Aux. switches for $195 and the 4.27's w/ rear locker for $795.

This has been my experience also in 4 decades of off roading. When a tire says "All Terrain" what it means is, it does nothing well.
