Another possibility: Done deliberately, dealer thinks they can more easily re-sell an automatic than a manual. After they add ADM and you refuse delivery. :( I have no idea who your dealer is. Maybe they're great, but we've all read such stories here.
Love the shift knob, looks and feels great.
The adapter kit, not so much. Should take advantage of the geometry to prevent rotation, not just rely on a tiny set screw. Really had to tighten the crap out of things to prevent rotation.
I got Metallic Blue, works great with the blue Bronco...
Okay, Workday actually did the commercial. But I can't believe they directly addressed Ford employees, like the ones who programmed the B&P back in the day! Don't call them rockstars. ;)
Absolutely, agree to disagree. 1 in 100k+ that we knew of, so far. I'm biased, as noted, to believe that Ford has historically done a really bad job testing for cold-related issues, I'm not sure they care. Given my bias, I'd expect to see more of this over time.
In addition to the larger...
Not nearly the same, but this reminds me of Ford steering wheels back in the 70s. Every one cracked when exposed to the cold, literally EVERY SINGLE ONE. Mind you, this was in Upper Michigan. True story: I bought a 1976 Ford Elite (used, first car) in Milwaukee once upon a time. Steering...
A benefit of buying the Cadillac is getting to go to a track school at Spring Mountain. They would gas up the cars, which would then show something like 92 miles of range, fully fueled! I'm guessing 6 or 7 mpg when being pushed hard all day.
Anyway, the Bronco sips fuel by comparison. :)
2-dr Black Diamond, manual. Never said I'm getting 22 mpg in Atlanta. Just getting good mileage on longer drives. More like 19 mpg commuting. Something over 20 mpg overall over 14,000 miles so far in 9 months of ownership.
Incidentally, the Bronco is now my high mileage vehicle. My...

2-door Bronco here, I did drive it (almost) coast to coast. Very comfortable road trip vehicle.
I subsequently drove from Atlanta to Milwaukee. About 760 miles each way, drove it in one shot, one gas stop in...
Surprised I didn't see this question, or I missed it:
Can you program the car to auto-close the windows with the key fob? You know how you can press, then press and hold, the Unlock button to lower all windows remotely? Can that also be programmed to do the opposite? Press, then press and...
Good electrical video here, pay attention!
Here's a good electrical diagram to study:

Finally, in closing, V x I does not equal Watts. Sorry. It might, if we're talking DC or unity power factor, but usually doesn't. V x I equals .... wait for it ...... Volt-amperes...
I was teaching my daughter to drive the other day. I thought it would be easier for her to get started uphill in C, then go to first. But the shift from C to 1 is pretty awkward if you're not familiar with it. Depends on what you're doing, but if you're not pulling a trailer or something...
Apologies for ignorant questions....
I don't see that blue on their site. Custom order? Which blue is that? I may have missed details above, adapter needed?
I apologize for being such a crusader on this topic, I guess I'm a big fan of 4A. And I feel like people really don't understand the differences between 4H (and 4L) and 4A. I grew up with the manual locking hubs then learned the differences when CRVs and RAV4s and others started coming with...
Sounds like misinformation (to use the trendy terms) is everywhere. Why in the world would you not be able to use 4A above 15 mph? The Bronco engages 4A (if available on that Bronco) when Sport Mode is selected!
Yes, I believe 4A is active, on-demand. Clutch based, controlled by the computers.
It may be missing in this thread, perhaps, but it's been covered in numerous other threads, the vehicle manual, and Ford's website. It's not a secret.
Of course it's safe to use 4A on pavement, in the rain or when it's dry. That's the point of 4A.
Sorry, this is not correct. Ford could not have pleased both parties this way. If ASS is not automatically re-enabled every time the vehicle is started both Ford and the feds know that people would use it a *lot* less. They know they have to force this on people or they can't claim fuel...
Not to pick on you, John, but your comments reminded me of a few thoughts I've had on EVs. Some of my comments go beyond what you said, just building on what you wrote.
We should not equate "technology" with "chemistry." We see rapid technological advances and think that batteries can change...
I can't believe I read this whole thread to this point and nobody is asking the most important question.

Will I be able to get a manual transmission in a 2030 Bronco or not???
***
If yes, when is the best time to order that 2030 Bronco? 2028??
;)
