I've seen other posts where users are putting a single pin weather pack connector on each aux switch wire under the hood. I wanted to go a little different direction and have one connector for all 6 wires. No labels to worry about, no having to pull up diagram when adding things, all 6 wires...
Factory kit is torx plus, but there's only 2 sizes and they aren't the right sizes for all the fasteners.
I ordered the Ronin as well, I do my own oil changes anyway. Never seen a plastic drain plug before. But then again, I've never had a plastic oil pan before!
This the right one?

Well let's see...
No. I operate high beams like a normal person would. I don't turn them off when a car appears 2 miles away, or whenever I pass a streetlight and then immediately put them back on bright like the computer does.
I like the Bronco...a lot. Doesn't mean I have to like every...
Don't care for the "analog" speedo, it should have been the tach. I don't use it, and it doesn't dim much when you dim the dash lights. Not sure why we need 3 speedos anyway.
I also dislike the high beam indicator. It doesn't stand out like it should. I hate auto high beams, always going to...
S-L-O-W
Takes a lot of sprocket revs to make a track rev. Takes a lot of power too. My BIL used to work for the guy that invented Mattracks.
Below is one of my dad's toys.
Last 4 of the VIN is the number everyone is using. I don't think we're going to get any better than that.
It's not the order produced, but it's a unique number for 2D and 4D.
Do we really want VINs the way Ford did it on the "specials" or do we want XXXX of XXXX when we know it?
Are you making a whole new badge or engraving our existing?
You missed the point. Entirely.
Letter from Ford says all hard tops built before the shut down will be replaced.
That's the part that matters to the OP.
It also says replacements will happen before more Broncos are built. That didn't happen, so it was not true. Doesn't matter why, but...
"...because we need to replace all existing roofs before we can make any new hard top Broncos." Nothing there to misinterpret. All MIC 1.0 to be replaced.
If you're referring to my comment about not true that they were going to do replacements before building more, explain all the MIC 2.0...
It's dealer BS. August letter from Ford...note the word all. Of course Ford also said they'd be replacing all the roofs on built Broncos before building more, which wasn't exactly true.
Jesus. I'm not a fan boy, not defending the Bronco. I believe the failures posted here are real. I believe there's an issue with engines that Ford needs to be more forthcoming with info on. 6, 8 however many we have here is statistically significant given the small population. I just hate...
I originally posted that exchange here. It came from my for sale ad for my Jeep Gladiator in a Jeep group on fb where I mentioned the Bronco as the reason for selling. The self-proclaimed tech is a die hard Jeep guy. There's a very good chance he's just a salty Jeep troll with zero skin in...
I understand, but it's just not real info. The only thing we really have is the list mpeugeot has above with the failures posted here. We can try to extrapolate from those failures based on the percentage of the total Bronco population that's on B6G, but that's about it.
