Originally you said electric vehicles are a euphemism for coal powered vehicles and that many if not most are run from coal generated electricity. That is simply wrong and with each passing year there will be less and less coal in our energy grid and more renewables.

Coal only supplies about 20% of US energy now- less than green energy sources.

If you look at the first week of production in May, about 1/3 of all Broncos produced were 2 doors and 70% were hardtop builds (mix of 2 and 4 doors) The hardtop is not stopping all production - demand is outstripping supply to some unknown degree.
