  1. [TFL] Can a Sasquatch Bronco Keep Up With a Modded Wrangler & Defender When It Gets Serious Off-Road?

Exactly - that is the main takeaway. Plus the Jeep didn't do the 1st major obstacle either. He went up the easier way so he could put a strap on the Defender. They also watched 2 other heavily modded Jeeps try and back down. Finally, the Bronco is half the price of either one of those after...
  2. Scheduling resumes week of 8/2

Yeah - I read "Reservation date" instead of order date. Res date is the only thing that matters. being in the allocation however, does mean that it was early enough for that particular dealer.
  3. Scheduling resumes week of 8/2

Ask your dealer where you stand in their allocation for MY21. If you are near the end or out of the allocation, then yes, you are out of luck. With that late of an order date, I would expect you to be a 22, but your dealer may not have many orders or some such weirdness that could sneak you in...
  4. Marine Grade Vinyl Upkeep

What is the formula you are using? I just have what I would call "regular" - it's been around forever and it does make stuff super slick.
  5. 2.3L Big Bend MPG after 784 miles: 20-25 MPG

This is amazing! Gives me hope that I might average 20+ combined in my BD build.
  6. Marine Grade Vinyl Upkeep

Don’t use 303 protectant on your seats- you will be sliding around like crazy and holding on for dear life šŸ˜€ It is absolutely the best stuff for vinyl and plastic but it is too slick for sitting or standing on.
  7. 2023 6th gen 4Runner - New Video, Renders & Insight (redesign - not refresh)

It's going to look like the new Tundra grill - just my guess. They will try to make the grill as big as possible - not what I would like to see. Also, since the Land Cruiser is being phased out of the US market, they will try to keep the 4-Runner, Tundra , and Tacoma all in a similar design...
  8. Panda Motorworks Catch Can Kit Prototype Headed to Production!

Following up with my earlier post - here are excerpts from the article with links to the Ford part that does each job in the engine: 1.The vent under vacuum. The image below shows what it looks like on an Ecoboost or Mazda DISI engine but all manufacturers have a similar version of this idea...
  9. Panda Motorworks Catch Can Kit Prototype Headed to Production!

Here is an excellent article I found on the Ranger forum that goes over why catch cans are not really needed on modern DI engines (except in some that are race-tuned and "loose"). Also goes into why this can be a bad idea to add to a well designed modern DI engine...
  10. MAP insider?

Exactly - and how many of us would try to contact a carpenter who is working in the development installing staircases to ask them about the delays in bathroom fixture installations at some of the home sites. Do you think they would go check around and get you some answers?
  11. MAP insider?

It IS entitlement to ask people who work at MAP to take time out of their full-time work day and / or life in general outside of work to do you a favor and track down your individual case. It is not their job to ferret out issues that have nothing to do with them. Just ask poor Ross - he is...
  12. Is the 2.3 going to be the reliable offroad engine vs the 2.7?

Shhhh!!!! Don’t say that out loud!!
  13. Gaia GPS off road maps x Android Auto Compatibility

This is my plan as well. It is a great system that I have been using for several years on my phone for backpacking. I hope it will do a good job with the Bronco now that it works with Carplay.
  14. TFL: 2021 Bronco vs Wrangler vs Defender - Off-Road Trail Comparison Video

To be fair- Ford says max articulation is with the Badlands- non-squatch. On all Squatch trims they limit travel because of the 35s. Jeep may still win the comparison with a Badlands, but we have never seen a head to head.
  15. Wallpaper for 2DR guys. Car and Driver

Yeah, everyone knows the Bronco is underpowered....
  16. Classic trim option: Am I the only one who...

I I am *this* close to switching back to BD to avoid the front locker commodity constraints. I lose the high package, but keep most everything I really need. Think I’ll pull the trigger on Monday.
  17. Question: Any 2dr owner have MIC top issues?

But his is not a 2-door. This is a great question. I haven’t seen any with issues either
  18. Got it today! 2-Door Lightning Blue FE - Las Vegas

Congratulations! Great choice on the Bronco and the Tool shirt! That blue is damn near perfect, I will be going with VB on my 2 door
  19. Seat Position and Visibility Disappointment

    I am happy with 8 😁
