Same!
Also, regarding a coax and tweeter height, I read about a trick to heat the end of a baseball bat and then press into the back side of the grill to push it out a bit. I'm putting in Hertz CX 165's and that seems to have done the trick to give me just enough space.
I ended up buying the LOD and installed over the last couple days. For a can mount, I was going to buy the multitool mount and then bolting up a lockable jerry can mount to it. I'm not a fan of the one LOD offers.
QQ, do you have the coax camera wire? How'd you run the wire and make the...
Any reason you can't use the wiring kit only included in this reverse light kit for SS3's placed in the LOD Destroyer bumper? I called @4x4TruckLEDs.com and he said they don't have a kit to do that and I would lose the backlight function with the parts they could supply me. The guy was short and...
Update: I talked with Tyler and they're sending out the missing ACC bracket and sensor grommets next day air. Also, seems they have an updated pair of frame braces that they're powder coating and sending out as well by the end of the week. He said I could install the bumper and swap them when...
So the good news is I finally received my bumper. It looks awesome! Still waiting on the aluminum skid to ship.
Bad news is it appears I’m missing the ACC relocation bracket and likely a few other parts for the relocation of the camera and sensors. Also, no instructions were included, nor can...
I'm also planning to run some DD SS3's, but sorry if this has already been covered...this thread is huge and already spent 1hr sifting through to find the answer. So this is adding the trigger from the new M2DZ-11654-CC with rear fog switch AND also powering the lights, correct? Are you still...
So I did a test today while hauling some mulch.
Normally I’m front 39.5” rear 40.5” measured at the top of the fender arch (not flare).
Weight per scale was 35 lbs per 2-cu ft bag mulch.
Added x12 bags = 420 lbs
Sagged to 39.5” rear
5 bags @ 175 lbs
Sagged to 40” rear
I’m in Tx, so yeah I get you, but I don’t expect to be groping it! :ROFLMAO: Might work to grill a steak in a pinch?!
Seriously though, it works great with the Bulletpoint accessories and I haven’t needed to mess with any of it once I got it all set like I wanted. My phone stays super steady...
So will regular SAS skids not work on HOSS 3.0? Are the mounts wider? I was wanting to do the 2” lift via redrilling the rear shock mount mod. I was going to use a skid to protect and reinforce the bottom of the mount once cut off. With your skid, since it doesn’t use the primary shock bolt and...
I I used BulletPoint arm (standard size) along with their 20mm balls and wireless charging cradle. The cradle is really nice, has some height adjustment on the bottom support and once you place your phone in the cradle, it senses and automatically snugs the sides.
I wanted to share some info/pics of this dash mount, which I’m really happy with! I like the fact that you don’t have to drill the dash as it uses hooks into your vents to secure the backside. I have the AR S.L.A.P. so I had to drill a couple holes to retain the other 2 mounting points.
I first...
I bought this during their Memorial Day Sale, along with their Dash Accessory Mount:
https://mountains2metal.com/dash-accessory-mount-large/
Both are very high quality and solid. Happy with the purchase.
FYI - I ordered directly from Vorsteiner as they had a great sale over Memorial Day, but the ring IS NOT removable. A bit disappointed on that, but still a good looking wheel and light.
Glad you finally got it all dialed in! Looks good.
QQ - What did you end up doing with your camera, is it hidden below the license plate bracket? I really didn't like RA's solution there and when I talked to them about an alternate method, they offered none. So I was trying to see how I might be...
