I’m wondering if something changed with an update from Ford. I’m having very similar issues with my 2024 Badlands and it’s been going on for a while. It either cuts out a random channel or I can hear distortion of some sort. If I update the software it works for a short while and then pops back up.

I own an Etop and I will not comment on that anymore but I agree on the simple zip top. I have been a Bestop customer for years and have a square back simple soft top that has been on there for over 10 years and still looks brand new.

If you buy just note that it comes with issues and no support. It appears the top is still in development and maybe not ready for the market at this point.

Said in another way…. Nothing to see here. The giant gap on the side of your new $5,000 top is normal. Even though it’s normal, we will have our product development team potentially fix said non problem in future versions. Have a great day! - Bestop

Thanks, definitely cleaner on the side than mine. This is really the main area that is bothering me. I have the same fitment in the rear but can live with it.

I looked at these also and it does indeed fit better. I plan to give Bestop another call today. These are marketing pictures so I would expect them to be perfect. My thoughts were that some of these areas would improve once the top stretched out some - not the case.

Yes and it makes a huge difference in body sway and internal rattles.

My personal belief is that all these tops will get stress cracks at some point. I switched my hardtop for a softop this summer and the added flex of the body was staggering. Without a crossbar in the middle it appears the hardtop is acting like a brace. Hit a pothole, uneven surface, etc. over...
