As mentioned in another post today, because the 4 door soft top will not come with the wiring for the rear windshield wiper, I may need to use one of the switches for the rear windshield wiper if I ever add a hardtop in the future.

Wildtrack looks great. But why do you need a keypad with a soft top? The thief will just cut the windows or roof to get in if it is locked.

Here are the non-Squatched BD’s I have seen. Not sure I’ve seen a Squatched 4-door BD yet.

2 door BD non-squatch and 2 door (base?) squatched. All the pics I could find quickly, but I have seen more on this forum.

I’m landing on an Iconic Silver 4dr BD, 2.3, Mid, Soft top, Adv 4X4, Auto, towing, with stock steelies, in the low $40,000s at Stevens. Almost all of you have picked the 2.7. Can you help me justify paying $1,895 for the 2.7?

Agree, with the clips on the side it looks like it will be quite sturdy even in the wind at speed.

Agree the front panels have to be somewhat robust in hanging on given what they’ve shown in the testing.

It’s this one. It seemed like it was too small, but like putting a bike tire on the wheel, you have to work it until it slides over the edges all the way around. I thought it wasn’t going to fit but then it did after a bit of effort. I’m not saying this thing is perfect, but it does heat up...

Agree I’ve had a heated steering wheel for the last 7 years and it’s great. But the used car we got for our daughter didn’t have a heated wheel, so we got her a $30 heated cover with a tangle-free cable. It’s not nearly as good as factory-installed (and it’s kind of ugly) but it does work. So...
