Agree I wish the accessory 2 door soft top went all the way down like a convertible, so Iām hoping to see a fully convertible 2 door soft top in the aftermarket after launch. But, Iām a bit worried that the 2 doorās boron steel roll bar is too far back to allow enough room to store a folded top...
Iām on the fence about the Trektop 2 door soft top. On one hand itās great that it goes nearly all the way back to open up the cabin without having to remove the rear or side windows, so thatās great for pulling it back quickly for short trips. And I really like the safari look with all of the...
The top rectangular frame of the rack sits over the top of the spare tire, and then a band cinches up tight around the tire. Since the rear camera is in the middle of the spare tire mount I think we would have to go with this type of design or something similar. Agree several bikes might be...
Thanks for adding this pic. Great that the top goes back this far, but still waiting to see if this fastback 2dr soft top goes all the way down like a convertible once the rear windows are removed.
I think you can already or at launch order the gray/black flares on the accessories list, or at least similar ones to whatās on all of the other trims. See the post below for images of accessories...
Anyone have additional pictures of this 2dr BD carb gray build seen in the wild and already posted somewhere on B6G? This is my ride, so would love to see other pics.
Will have to see if others can confirm. On build and price it only says āfront bumperā, but there are plenty of contradictions between B&P and other materials.
Thanks for posting. I had never heard of the TAT before this post, so I googled it to check it out. Pretty cool. The Jay Lenoās Garage video below doesnāt cover the Atlantic Ocean Spur in NC, but it does give a good flavor for the whole trip.
Yes, the standard OBX front bumper is plastic. The heavy duty modular bumper option is steel. But, as reported somewhere, even when you upgrade an OBX to the modular bumper for the front, the rear bumper always will be plastic. You only get the steel rear bumper when you buy Black Diamond or...
Thanks for the great info and explanation. This is why Iām staying with Stephens and probably getting a ā22 when I might be able to get a ā21 elsewhere if I wanted to deal with all of theIr horse shit . . .
I see that the OBX bronze dash has changed to now have a texture, and seems darker as well vs the old (2nd one below). Will want to see a picture with the new dash together with the roast cloth seats in the same frame to see how that looks now.
The basic ones are good for those OBX buyers who donāt like the body colored flares and want it to look like all of the other Bronco trims. I thought about doing this on an OBX in order to get the High package, but I couldnāt get OK with any of the OBX interiors. So, staying with BD.
We have yet to see if these āfully retractableā fastback tops actually fully retract like a convertible behind the rear seats. Right now, weāve only seen that they pull back to expose the seating area on the 2 door and 4 door. Waiting to see if they go all the way down in the back in the cargo...
