I was sick of carrying a lantern back and forth Night fishing on the beach. Added benefit is they're so bright they illuminate the entire cargo area. Wired to Aux 6, I'll eventually wire 5 and 6 to be hot all the time so I don't have to run accessory power all night.
I like that you can't see...
I think these do the same thing, if I understand you right. They also have space underneath which makes it easier to mess with the hardtop. He only has the 2dr right now.

I'm glad I saw this!! Your pre-order price convinced me to pull the trigger now even though I'm not installing till next summer. Your design is top notch.
I think the biggest difference for any of these products is appearance. It's too simple of a piece and won't have a high enough load bearing for serious competition. I'm looking at doing the windows to block wind for the kids when the top is off and to strap extras air down house and other...
The dowel on mine must've snapped and I didn't notice.
The spot where it's sown to itself is thick enough to hold it in on mine. Maybe they made the slot skinnier on 23's?
I used super glue to hold the pieces together after my dog stepped on it while I was trying to get under there. It's stronger now than before it broke.
Don't worry about the clips that broke. Super glue the plastic guides on each side that slide onto each other.
I'm curious to see how a 2 door owner likes this product after install. I'm about to install Badlands take-off shocks because of the brake dive and soft feel while cornering from the Hitachi shocks. I feel like these would make those issues worse? I've never used a product like this so idk.
I know AR has bought more equipment to keep up with demand, not sure if that applies to this product in particular. They might be pricey but you know anything you buy from them will last the lifetime of the vehicle and beyond. If you really want these and can't find them I would recommend...
That's how I took it too. Had a fun conversation with a guy driving a decked out Gladiator shortly after that. From the looks of his tailgate rack he's a serious overlander.
I took my daughters night fishing at San Luis Pass last night and there were a ton of Jeeps rolling through Galveston. Some were very nice, almost all topless and doors off, not a speck of sand on most of these road queens. While we're passing a long line of them a woman leans out of her driver...
Yea that's what the gentleman above was saying. Find the size of the plastic drain plug and Google plastic quick release drain plugs. Maybe you'll find one at a decent price. Just don't use anything with a pushup o-ring style release. Find something with a valve that has to be turned. I'm...
Best case scenario you buy the used procal and Ford loads a new tune for a new vehicle on it for $3-400. Worst case it's not able to be linked to another vehicle at all. I highly recommend buying a new unit. But I'm sure lethal performance will have a more definitive answer.

I have a 2.3 and you have to buy the adjustable drain plug. Idk about the 2.7 but I would recommend buying it anyway. Let's you decide the angle you want to clock it so you can point it directly at the hole you drill. The tube I use is their drain kit too. I think...
The rust spot on the Skid Plate is where I attempted to use a drill bit while it was mounted on the vehicle. First time I've seen a bit that large snap. Next oil change I'll use my dremel cutting disc, clean off the rust, and paint over the bare steel. I do a lot of beach driving so salt...
Drill the hole with the Skid off the truck, not while it's bolted on. It's so flexible you'll break your drill bit if it's not flat against something for support. Or use a cutting wheel like a dremel.
