Curious why you're getting in your order this early...As long as it's in before March deadline, it shouldn't make any difference...unless you want to be done with the rollercoaster of decision making?
Thanks for the update, Noah. How do you intend on doing virtual orders? Will you provide the dealer build sheet to all reservation holders up front so we can see REAL pricing prior to calling Mullinax to place the order?
White top was never confirmed for MY22. They said it's not available for MY21. Black MOD is late availability MY21. You have to take them literally and not read between the lines.
Glad I changed my mind and stayed home, even though I am thinking of ordering a Mach-E instead of the Bronco, and I need to sit in the Mach before I buy it.
(Before you kill me, I test drove a Model Y and it confirms that I need the torque and response of an electric car. EV Bronco in 2024+ FTW)
Pardon me, but I've always found door storage in the cargo area to be gimmicky if the roof panels can't be stored as well. Will anyone ride with the doors off but the roof is on? I'm not sure about that
By prioritizing parts made for high end trims, like Sasq or leather, they can claim "commodity constraints" and get those out the door first while holding to their promise of timestamp and building lower trims later. So yes, two things can be true at the same time.
With Bronco demand so high, I recommend buying it. If you don't like it, you can always sell it mid 2022 and still recover what you paid. With a lease, the money is gone
Of course I could be wrong, but I think It makes no difference if you're #2 or #792 to place your reservation at your dealership:
1. All 100,00+ submitted orders will be handled in one batch on March 19
2. The System will determine when and in what sequence your Bronco will be built based on...
1. Rivian SUV
2. Tesla Model Y
3. Mach-E
4. Maybe Wrangler 4xe, but I'm really over Wranglers
clearly I want an EV/hybrid and Ford dropped the ball not having Bronco Hybrid ready to go at launch
Being #2 is meaningless. If your build commodity bumps you later in the fulfilment order, your dealer allocation could be filled by the time your Bronco gets built.
