You can't blame the tech. He's only clicking enable tow bar, and it's a genuine Ford module.(I believe those are the only two questions asked)
Your comfortability with using Forscan versus possibly having a warranty issue is all up to you.
I don't believe that trying to enable one feature...
The trailer light check is an option that can be turned on through forscan.
I've not seen it enabled through FDRS.
Unclear why it works on some vehicles and not others will just throws up an error.
I just want to make it clear, that is not an option necessarily should be expected even going...
I would not advice using nylon Lock nuts for electrical connections.
I'm sure they make high temperature ones,
It looks like you're making electrical connection, in an engine bay, heat upon heat.
Keep it simple, use a simple spring lock washer
The picture you posted is the weakest link in the...

Just the trailer controller is about $250

again, There may be cheaper ways to go, but Ford is easier (my opinion)...
You still need the trailer brake controller, without that you will not have any lights.
There are third party ways to go.
My two cents is going OEM really is the easier way, whether or not you want to use their hitch receiver.
There is no tow mode for non raptors.
As far as deactivating sensors, if you make the changes in forscan I listed it will do it when it detects a trailer is connected
Let me clarify, Amber lights should turn on aux. 1, white lights aux 2
(I'm not saying specifically use those aux switches, just listing them out for clarity)
The fixtures, light pods, you have have two sets of LED diodes.
The connector has three wires
Two switch legs shared ground
If it were me, I would connect one switched leg to a uplifter switch individually
If not, you have a white and yellow light on at the same time.
Seems like a mistake...
Switch(s), you have (2) sets of lights.
White and amber.
While you could put them both ono a single aux switch, I am not sure that would be the wisest choice.
I am unsure what to make of that.... I am more than fully aware.
BUT
You did not get the Ford Tow module.
You got a 4-pin module., which requires a lot more work, it needs to be wired in.
Short answer,......... NO
You only have a 4-pin module, which is just essentially a relay module, tapped into you existing lighting.
Your vehicle has no idea when a trailer is attached. At most, it might provide feedback of having a lamp failure warning due to any failure of your 4-pin module...
Just so it's clear. The tow module EJ7Z-19H332-E is not meant for your Bronco. The module will have different outputs. It will most likely not have a working right turn signal (but the brake light will work).
one part is 100 bucks. (incorrect)
the other like over $200 (the correct one)...
