This is awesome! I am running a Mobridge amp with 150w so the Ciare’s may be a good fit. Also digging the spacers. Did you make yourself? I saw similar ones on five star audio but can’t find anyone to fab me a pair.

Sharp drop off at 100hz via RTA measurement. Spike around 200 or a little below. Convinced it’s the airspace a low QTS driver may help with the issue.

I have been thinking of doing the same with raw drivers and a low QTS because of the small enclosures in the kick panels. I know most of these drivers are 3+ inches in depth. Where you able to easily fit them and use the factory grills?

One of the screws (middle panel - middle hinge will not stay tight. I tried to tighten it and it appears to be stripped. Is there any way to retap it epoxy that will hold it? It’s under warranty, so I may just take it in but hate dealerships.

you are in the right track but can be a little more challenging in the Bronco. Based off hours of tuning the main areas that will need addressing are the high frequencies, lower Midbass and upper subwoofer. You will need to significantly drop the upper treble. The frequencies are reflecting off...

Buy the Mobridge amp/dsp and Audiofrog gs42’s front and rear and gs60’s for kick panel. Audio control 12 inch tailgate sub. Not cheap but will sound really good once tuned at all volume levels.

Ride better than stocks?

Full disclosure - not my ride but 35x11.5x17 on stock rims no spacers. Its lifted probably 1 or 2 inches above stock.

Yes, from the pure aspect that you can tune the speakers and have additional power. Keep in mind the Bronco is loud and basically plastic inside so great sound is not easily achieved.

We should start a tune thread. I have ran the GB’s in a previous vehicle and was really happy. I sealed off those holes for my mids but no luck on digging deeper.

mono pink noise on usb stick. No need to connect laptop to Bronco.

My mids drop off hard after 100hz and a big ol’ dip at 80 on the sub. Makes the transition from mid to sub hard in this vehicle.
