A quick update since I've had it for about a month:
1) I've had to tighten the latches a few times now. Some areas more than others, else I got a slight squeak.
2) The panels weigh a good bit and can be a bit awkward to handle by yourself given the size, but very doable.
3) I've noticed slightly...
Itās the LOD Destroyer bumper, check out this thread. Itās been pretty solid so far. After a while the rubber stops started to squeak over bumps, but I just added a dab of grease to the surface of them. I also had to add an extra nut to them to lock them down as they would slowly loosen. Still...
Also note, it seems like the top/back edge of the molle wonāt fit against oversized aftermarket 6.5ā speaker pods. So I started trimming the drivers side⦠Donāt do this, itās not needed. The edge will slide right inside between the speaker pod and rollbar without issue⦠No trimming was done on...
So to work with the @Mountains2Metal Attic Tray pin arms/brackets that mount to the rollbar, Sam suggested using the AD pocket molleās for the BRaptor that have a cutout for the brace. Theirs do add quite a bit more storage than the cheapies I got off Amazon, and waaaay lighter since these are...
I think you might be in the wrong thread as this is not an OEM top and the design is no way similar? What you mentioned will never work with the Armadillo modular design and the semi-permanent shell.
Did you twist/solder these colors from the harness together before connecting to your sub wires? What size wire did you use to the sub?
I listen to everything from rock>country>hiphop>RAP>EDM and has plenty of bass and exceeds expectations for a 10āā¦.always been a fan of JL for the tighter and...
I had a soft top and it would get too loud for me with the top up, loud enough with the top down on the hwy. There was no distortion up to lvl 23 volume with their tune. Sounds even better with my Armadillo hard top and normal driving I keep ~10 volume now, never past 15, even with my 37ās in...
Awesome, post some pics!
They used them to mount the TrailRax and attach the rear brackets, but that setup/brackets are still going through testing. Alternatively Iāll use them to mount a rear half rack, which I may need to mod a bit to work (if AD doesnāt come out with their own). I also got...
Iām still able to store some recovery gear and the Armadillo Designs panel storage bags in the M2M attic tray.. This is still at shipped locking pin height, I havenāt modified yetā¦
Top view of L-tracks and SiriusXM antenna relocation. I will either do the TrailRax or a half rack at rear. I...
Iām not trying to defend, but my 2 cents per my experience thereā¦
They did have at least 7-10 tops behind the bronco install area that were in final assembly, which I missed taking that pic. There have been other pics of that shared online though. Fabian mentioned they were working to add more...
Shop tour pics. Theyāve really come a long way and are continually working to optimize process, from now having dedicated blenders, vs the welders doing it all, to their jigs, to the 40 parts per batch process to streamline production, to their <8ft shipping container size (the awkward tilt of...
Armadillo Designs Hardtop installed⦠Love it..! And⦠the M2M attic shelf worked, with some tweaks and adjustment to the rear door corner gasket that seals against the rail. They had to use a credit card to finesse more gasket out in that corner to close a small gap, due to the M2M shelf...
