Thanks for the update. Yes, I noticed the plastic showing as well and do not like that... I feel like they should have extended the ends a couple inches to ensure that was covered.
Might check out this DV8 option for the license plate and light, which I ordered already as it can be used with...
@bronco_ed How is the setup holding up? Has the carrier sagged any or needed further adjustment post the washer shimming? Also, how much sag in the rear with the LOD setup?
I’m interested in this, I have the LUX/B&O. Interested in your setup. What pods did you use in the rear? You also used a Hertz CX100 for center? Any reason you should/shouldn’t use a 2 way coaxial, same as corners, vs just a 4” midwoofer?
I’m about to replace all My speakers, but want to make...
So instead of turning off the DSP, and with upgrading to 6.5" rear pods, I should just change them to speaker or speaker/sub via Forscan and flat EQ of flat EQ on 727-01-02?
I was provided an answer, refer to:

It doesn't seem this question was ever actually answered. I see many using the 4” PRV midrange and wondering why vs another matching coax in center. Is the midrange better for center staging vs coax or is the only reason due to being able to buy this PRV in a single vs a set?
Is there a reason why so many are using the 4” PRV midrange vs a matched set across all dash speakers? Is it simply you can buy this as a single speaker vs a pair or is it better for center channel?
This is why I was looking at doing a 1.5" RPG with 1" or 1.5" top spacer to add back the lost droop in the front to rebalance, minimizing/offsetting impacts of each, and achieving 2.5-3" of lift. This is essentially what the Icon and Zone lifts do.
This coupled with the redrilled shock mount 2"...
Also, considering just doing this mod for 2” lift in rear and better clearance :- DONE! I have re-drilled rear shock mount 2” higher, =more clearance and 2” lift.
Then just perch 2.25 or 3” or perch/spacer combo in front For 2.5-3.25” depending on how much the bumper/winch make it sag.
Anyone installed with the shock still on the truck? Their F150 Raptor install vid shows them doing this, which is the same 2 piece screw together design. Seems this is the point of this design vs the 1 piece design for SAS.
however, seems like most are still removing the shock for install…
I was looking for a DIY sound deadening and found DEI Boom Mat in .5in x 75in x 54in or 1in x 75in x 54in sheets in carpet or leather look for $225-$375. Lots of precut cuts in this stuff for Jeeps.
Armadillo is now saying this is meant to be more semi-permanent due to its modular design and...
I ordered mine 2 weeks before the group buy spun up and this last Mon. would be 12 weeks. I talked to Tyler @ SRQ today and they’re slightly behind, but my bumper is set to go to the build table next week and then to powder coating. I also ordered the aluminum skid.
I figure y’all should...
I've been searching through the multiple threads and have yet to see any pics of the sound deadening. This is a $575 add-on, so I hope it's more than just some glued on thin ply carpet, as they mentioned it was similar to OEM carpet headliner.
@ADV Fiberglass can you provide pics of the sound...
