Ahh... so we're dealing with an insider here? Sorry @LEGEND , I'll give your statement a little bit more credibility than that of any other Joe... but just a little
It remains to be seen. If the body paint gray is a bluish gray and the MIC ends up as a greenish gray, it could look bad. I'm not sure that there's any reason, at this point to trust that it will be a good looking match.
EDIT: It's still on my "maybe" list until I see more.
The problem I have is that I need to see the carb gray with the gray MIC top. Since it's not likely the same shade, it has the potential to look really bad. I'll need to see it in a variety of lighting conditions. I guess we'll see.
EDIT. I don't trust the renders and this one photo in a...
But this is totally against the dealership business model. Generally speaking, they make more money the more they can screw you over. It's what they do. But yes, Ford needs to figure out the future and can't just keep kicking the can down the road.
Yea, good luck getting a dealer to commit to matching Granger's deal.
I'm not totally sure it's fair to conclude that a dealer not matching that price is a bad dealer, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you want the Granger deal, you're likely going to need to go with Granger.
We are all at least 8 months + a major election and inevitable chaos + more pandemic out from buying. So yea, I'm not wasting my time rate shopping right now, but to each their own. I know essentially where I'll end up relative to prevailing rates at the time. I'm not the type to criticize...
I'm not 100% sure about the statement above that I bolded. However you will probably be allowed to move your reservation again to another dealer where you can get your MY21.
My reservation has been with a big-ish local dealer from the start. And I'm sticking there regardless. But that...
I agree... well... with everything except "significantly". I mean, I'm sure that you are correct, but we don't really know by how much. Though it's fairly obvious that this is their intent and I'm sure they won't screw this part up since it's been done by the demand of the larger dealers.:)...
To be fair, there is not enough information provided to divine the actual formula. Yes people keep speculating, but there is no reason to assume that the formula is anything like what these hypothetical users are stating. There are an infinite number of formulas that could meet the criteria in...
Thanks toystwo. I think I finally got it... or most of it. I'll be back for my next lesson next time they change the rules.
This is definitely a sucky deal for the Grangers and Stephens of the world and it really jerks around the people who've spend countless hours trying to understand the...
Just read this whole damn thread and want to thank everyone for trying to help get the facts through my thick skull.
I think the biggest communication issue here is that some are really, REALLY upset about Ford changing the rules after the game started. Which is completely fair. Whether the...
It's clear from all of the images that these M/Ts do not have a very aggressive mud tread pattern. I believe there was an interview where some Goodyear reps referred to them as "Maximum Traction", or some such marketing words. If they were "real" M/Ts, I wouldn't even consider the 33s as an...
Removable doors are standard across the lineup.
Roof options is a sticky subject. I've not been following closely as I'm sticking with the standard MIC roof on my 2 door BL. Going to wait and see what options come in the aftermarket, or just go back to ford parts. I don't want a body colored...
Wondering why so many are making statements that this is a bug in B&P and will be fixed. Where is the authoritative source? I admit, it's difficult to make sense of any rationale that might underpin some of these "anomalies", but it's a complicated game and there may be factors that we don't...
Not sure if I'll ever move up from the 33s, but I'm a little curious about other's first-hand experiences on this. It might also be important to distinguish between the powertrain coverage and the initial bumper to bumper coverage. For example, I don't think bearings are generally covered...
