One option I saw was..they can work with your local dealer if the local dealer is willing, and get it ship straight to CA to that dealer from Ford (You’ll probably have to call around and see which dealer is willing). That dealer will get PDI money.

Hopefully not, he’ll have to drain some and check the dipstick again. My highlander retains a little less than half a quart.

I would probably trust the dip stick? No all of the oil will drain out of all the nooks if you got the 7qrts from the book.

Randall Ford was pretty transparent that they will have markup for dealer stock Broncos. No markups for reservation/orders though.

Randall Ford Fort Smith has their mannequin in. Unfortunately the sales guy says you can’t test drive unless you have an order with them. It was nice to look at though.

Never owned anything soft top before. What kind of maintenance if any is required or recommended to extend the life of the top? What’s the expected life?

Not sure what you ordered but if it has the hardtop, have you tried to switch to soft and see? Seems like that’s the huge constraint right now.

RTR rock rails are my fav so far. The last pic you post looks like factory side steps..so they aren’t made to slide on.
