Pretty nice set up⦠I like this Rigid all in one light. A lot of functionality in one tidy (with excessive logo) package,
But Iāve been looking for a a spare tire mounting solution and harness for it.
Rigid makes one for Bronco but not the Bronco Raptor. Iām looking for mount like the Fast...
definitely a classic1
I just have one Kuat Pivot 2.0 - https://www.kuat.com/product/pivot-2/
And one NV Base 2.0 - https://www.kuat.com/product/nv-2-0-base/
Very Stout, easy to use ( other than getting hitch pin in to position , but thatās a problem for any rack) and works great. Not cheap...
I figured with portals, zero offset wheels and 13.5 tires youāre going add 11.5 inches to the track. Doesnāt seem very practical except for very specific use cases. But I love the initiative!!
and then add 2 inches to each side with 0 offset wheels and 13.5 M/Ts.
i just saw someone on another thread that wants to put portals on his Braptor, thatās about 7 inches of additional width aloneā¦. plus rims/tires above thatās almost an addition foot of track width. idk.
Beadlocksā¦.
Who is making Bronco Raptor portals currently?
That's going to be one very wide ride with portals, especially with any reduction in positive (+34) offset from stock.
I do a lot of Wheeling in the central Sierras, with 100 miles from Reno. I havenāt found anyplace I couldnāt passā¦ā¦yet. I definitely go through the trees slower than my friends 2D Bronco, Iāve had to make a few multi-point turns (been using TTA more lately) and have needed a few spots (between...
Yes. This is why Everglades only came with āMidā options package. Ford just took a hard pass on dealing with these issues.
I went with JCR winch plate and everything works perfectly, they also have a bull bar option if I recall correctly
I read this thread with the soundtrack in my head of George Harrisonās āGot my mind set on youā. This should be your theme song! Best of luck..
I got my mind set on you
And this time I know it's for real
The feelings that I feel
I know if I put my mind to it
I know that I really can do it
But...
Iāve pulled apart a First Edition Modular Bumper and my Raptorsā Modular Bumper to strip out harness and install a winch plate. Theyāre virtually identical from a bolting together perspective, some minor differences in wiring harness, but thatās not an issue for you as I understand it. Iād...
my understanding in ārec 90ā is that it is ethanol free. I donāt foresee an issue with running that in your Raptor.
Being ethanol free is neither a bad or good thing, UNLESS your vehicleās engine was not designed for ethanol at all. However most (all?) modern cars (I lost track as a retired...
Iāve forgotten the context of the post, I agree with everything you wrote. I think we are saying the same thing, albeit my comment was a tad simplified!
I wish I could just leave it on in any mode or drive (2WD/4H/4L). If you can use Forscan to unlock āBajaā mode, this will allow you to keep it on full time in 2WD or 4H. At least thatās how it works in the Raptor.
the downside is you have very aggressive shifting unless you are in manual...
im thinking of going to 39s down the road. I see youāre running 39x13.5 K02s on the +18 RTR rims with the RPG collars 1.5āF/2.5āR.
Are you getting any rubbing at all off-road at full lock, full stuff or both? Iām off-road a lot.
Iām trying to minimize the lift while still having the...
The plugs just convenient for tapping all the headlight harness wiring.
is this what youāre looking forā¦.
