    My group we all ran cbs but switched to gmrs a couple years ago. Way way way, better range and clarity. Plus the radios and antenna are much smaller.

    As far as the 12V port is concerned, on the F150 you can adjust the on time in forscan up to an hour after ignition off. It was a few years ago when I adjusted mine, I don’t think you could go any longer than that but I could be wrong.

    Mine will have a cell boost, a gmrs antenna and a cb post so I can talk to those guys who have not bought into gmrs yet; in addition to the am/fm. I guess when you only mall crawl, having a sleek roof line is important.

    I’m aware as is everyone else by now that the 10r60 is going in the bronco. What I’m asking is if anyone has verified that Ford didn’t pull a fast one and slip a 10r80 into the rig they were going to race.
