  1. UAW authorized Strike. Huge Demands!

Cost of living adjustment raises are understandable, merit raises for job performance are understandable too. But 40% over 4 years for everyone with a union card in their pocket, maybe not so much. Expecting a new employee who just started today to make the same money as someone who has been...
  2. Poor customer service at dealer’s service department.

There are a number of challenges for dealer service departments right now. The number one challenge is a serious lack of technicians. There has been a shortage of good technicians for close to 20 years, but now there is a real shortage of technicians of any quality level. Technical colleges...
  3. DO NOT USE ARMOR ALL WIPES

Yes, ANYTHING ArmorAll is not good. Armor All actually dries out plastic and, vinyl and rubber. 303 products are much better and don’t contain silicone and make everything feel greasy.
  4. How do you get a loaner at the dealership?

Yeah, dealers are all different. Sometimes what they do is hard to understand. I know that from dealing with a couple hundred of them in my career at Ford.
  5. Moldy Bronco

Looks like it’s been for a swim. Even if it could be cleaned, all the modules are toast. Total.
  6. How do you get a loaner at the dealership?

Did you buy it at this dealership? If not, some won’t go out of their way to help with a loaner.
  7. Rocks caught between wheel and tire voids warranty!!!

That would be considered damage, just like a wheel that gets gouged on a rock. No manufacturer would cover that under warranty. If you had a tire warranty, which is really just an expensive insurance policy, it would be covered.
  8. Best fitting aftermarket seat covers for cloth seats?

I had a set of Marathon covers on my 2017 F-150 for 6 years. When they came off the black leather seats looked like brand new. It was really surprising.
  9. Best fitting aftermarket seat covers for cloth seats?

I swear by Marathon seat covers, fit great and wear really well. They are pricey, but if you’re going to have the Bronco for a while they are worth it.
  10. Trailer lights and brake wiring price?

That sounds like a lot of money, but the dealer I work for is at $165/hour for labor. It adds up quick. I’m guessing a good tech could do a good job of installing the kit in 4 hours-ish. It’s a pretty involved job. It could be done quicker, but not real well.
  11. Parking Brake Limited Function - Complete Computer Shutdown

If everything seems to be working when you get it back, probably no harm done. You lucked out. If it is a network problem it may take a while to diagnose, some are not too bad, others are pretty challenging.
  12. Parking Brake Limited Function - Complete Computer Shutdown

They could have pulled the fuel pump relay or fuse. Your problem sounds like a network communication problem. Their first step would have been to hook up a scan tool and pull codes.
  13. Parking Brake Limited Function - Complete Computer Shutdown

Wow, they unhooked the battery while engine was running??? Lucky it didn’t smoke about half of the modules on the truck. If battery is unhooked while running it can’t perform its job as a giant capacitor for the electrical system and voltage can spike to very high levels.
  14. Dealership can't get the alignment right

Those drive-over machines work great to measure total toe, but they can’t see whether or not the steering wheel is centered.
  15. Dealership can't get the alignment right

Those drive-over machines work great to measure total toe, but they can’t see whether or not the steering wheel is centered.
  16. Dealership can't get the alignment right

So, it’s not pulling, the steering wheel just needs to be centered. Tell them that next time you take it in. Pulling means that the truck will drift one direction or the other when you let go of the steering wheel, it’s not doing that. So the alignment is good, tech just didn’t have the...
