Right off it sounds like you either have a bad connection on the positive or negative side of the battery. 14.6 volts is high at the battery if Bronco battery is pulling any current from the coach there should be some voltage drop in the wiring.
Now why is the Bronco going down. First guess is...
I have been thinking the same thing. So I when to Walmart this afternoon and got a EverStart Platinum AGM 4 year battery. My daughter-in-law reminded me that my Bronco sat on Dirt Mountain for close to 4 months, so the battery was going over 3 1/2 years. Probably could have made it a while...
Just a little FYI. My Bronco is a early 2021 and the battery is starting to go south. I get this messages on my Ford Pass "Remote features disabled to preserve battery" also the Bronco is going into deep sleep every night. When I open the drivers door in the morning no lights come on until I...
The only software fix I know of is the original software update to turn the Brake Boost off as soon as you put the Bronco into tow mode. Once this is installed you will get serval alarms to do with the brake system and collision detect which will go away when you acknowledge them.. You will...
I used the Blueox universal kit which is the same as the one you used and have not had any issues. Double check you wiring. Attached is the Ford tail light drawing.
Don't understand " but all the exterior lights are blinking a a normal rate "
Are the motorhome turn signals blinking normal and...
Runyon, what braking system to you have and what are you towing with?
I did 1900 miles to northern Minnesota for Thanksgiving with a over night stop going and coming back. Did not have a any braking issues this time.
I just wish we could figure out what causes it to happen. I know the car...
Check Tractor Supply, Lowe's and Home Depot, they carry some aluminum trailers. I got mine at Tractor Supply and I have carry some good size loads behind my Bronco OBX.
I'm doing some some research on the EBB turning on. Please comment over on my new thread. Do you see anything before it happens and does it usually happen under about the same braking conditions.
I have heard of this happening to a couple of user and I have had it happen to me a couple of times. Just a couple of weeks ago whilst I was in Colorado a fellow Bronco puller called me asking if I had it happen to me. Up until that time it had only happen one time. Well on the way out of...
My dad had it about 6 months before he brought it to Colorado for this hunting trip. I was stationed a Lowry AF in Denver. Was the first V8 Bronco in Oklahoma.
I would not be to concerned about pulling the Bronco on a local dirt road without aux brakes. Connect the lights up as normal. My dad an I pulled his Bronco up a dirt road in Colorado one fall with dust like flour. Snowed 6" two days later. Luckily there was a creek at out camp site so we...
Skip, if you are not getting several brake related alarms when you release the brake pedal after putting the Bronco in Neutral Tow Mode you do not have the software update.
The original issue was the EBB would stay active for around 30 to 40 minutes after you close the doors and the timer would...
When I did mine I cut the nut off the bottom of the crash bar and drilled the holes out to 1/2" and I also welded the eye closed on the eye bolts I used.
A better solution is to get a m12-1.75 eye bolt about 85 mm long and screw it in from the bottom and then put a nut and lock washer on top...
