  1. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

Nice! The seats are very comfortable and look great. The gray trim fabric feels THICK and substantial, which is nice. The black inset panels feel like the "Jersey" / Sport cloth that debuted on the 08 Escape range, and those wore really well. I love the look of the heather gray and black...
  2. Want a Bronco NOW? Come to 🇨🇦!

It's quite possible and I'm sure many dealers did just that- reserved under their employee's names and then prioritized the build. Maybe the payoff will be worth it, but the consequences are real.
  3. Want a Bronco NOW? Come to 🇨🇦!

I'll spoil a few things- - This order would have had to have had a customer name and order # attached to it to place into WBDO, even if that person was a dealership employee. This counts towards the 80/20 rule. - The sticker will be green as it was a customer order.
  4. Want a Bronco NOW? Come to 🇨🇦!

You confirmed this how? No dealer has yet been able to order a standard stock unit, so no matter how the dealer got this (assuming it isn't their demo) then the sale will count against the 80/20 name match. Fun question: What color is the window sticker?
  5. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

We're just down the road in Pataskala... our kids play in LCL league sports and I'm the Percussion Director for Watkins Memorial HS. Keep an eye out! We'll be up in Johnstown both tonight and Friday.
  6. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

No, but there was a pair of panties on the side mirror after our gig last Saturday.* *not really **and I've really only left it parked somewhere for more than a few minutes on just a couple occasions.
  7. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

Call quality is superb, though I haven't attempted anything with the roof off (not sure why we would tbh). In short, heaven. Not an overwhelming new car smell (my ex-wife just got a Kia Carnival that's been an absolute shitshow of an ownership experience, but the interior had a STRONG model...
  8. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

To be fair they're 4" around... 🤷‍♂️ Edit: In all seriousness, a 4/6 4/6 front and 4/4 rear could be just fine with a properly reinforced cone and reasonable EQ work. I'm curious if the Bronco cones are a more weather-resistant material instead of pulp, which would contribute to the tinny...
  9. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

4" in both the dashtop and rear pods, 6.5" in the front kick panels.
  10. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

Correct, we don't have groupies. We have girlfriends.
  11. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

I noticed whistling around the mirrors and roof line once so far, and that was going 80mph down the interstate in moderate to high winds. Otherwise I haven't experienced it.
  12. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

Nothing major at this point. I'd like to add the sill plates as there is a good bit of horizontal painted surface at the entrances that I could see getting scratched up. Other than that, some visual upgrades to the grille lettering and trailsights and inserts for the "BRONCO" on the passenger...
  13. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

In full transparency, my last 2 daily drivers were a 2013 Flex preceded by a 2008 Fusion. Lighting tech has made HUGE strides in the time between then and now! The Bronco has a nice *broad* wash of light and the auto high beams work much better than I would have expected. The pattern is much...
  14. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

I'm obviously a bit biased, but the Cactus / Carbonized combo has a lovely purposeful two-tone effect. The Carbonized accents aren't quite black but are a beautifully deep gray. With the Carbonized wheels, grille, and badging on Big Bend it all just goes so well together. No dislikes. A few...
  15. One Week In - How livable is the new Bronco?

Yesterday afternoon marked exactly one week since taking delivery of Betty, a 4 door Bronco Big Bend (2.L, 10 sp auto, MIC roof, Mid Package, Signature Lights, and floor liners). With 7 days and almost 400 miles on her, I thought it would be good to report back on how things are going. First of...
  16. Any build emails this week? For Thursday July 8

August's production schedule isn't yet full, but no big dump of emails and VINs this week. Expect incremental adds and many "short notice" build notifications. Wish I could share more. Stay with it. August #s are looking good.
  17. My Cactus Gray Big Bend just delivered. First pics & early impressions

OH! In that case, she was born on 6/24 and came home a week ago today on 6/28.
  18. Dealer HAD a Bronco in stock....

Correct. These units are either customer orders that then backed out, or were early reservations made by dealer employees to "get" a unit to sell. A shitty loophole, but they'll still count against the 80/20 name match rule. There is still not currently a method by which a dealer can order a...
  19. Received my Big Bend Sasquatch last Wednesday

Congratulations, and welcome to the Cactus Gray Big Bend club! The two-tone scheme at play with this paint, trim, and roof combination might just be the best look available for MY21.
  20. My Cactus Gray Big Bend just delivered. First pics & early impressions

Thank you! She just turned 2, but her older siblings are 9, 11, and 12 so she's still the baby. Yep, this is my main gigging kit for this band. I have Genista kits with 20x14, 22x18x, and 24x14 basses, and an Elite with a 26x18. We like options! LOVE that marine pearl finish! I have a good...
