I paid $1500. This was when AMP Research and RSE were the only game in town. And the Amp Research were in short supply.
$1000 is a smoking deal! The Amp Research uses the obd plug...which is nice. The only hard part on install was using a positap to tap into a wire up under the dash...
If you ever run on the rocks...just one choice RSE. I had RSE on my jeep. RSE do not tuck away or look as clean as the Amp Research. As far as functioning as an actual step, the AMP research do a better job (IMO).
The quality control/usability of the RSE is so-so. I had my RSE...
I have a few scepter cans (gas and water) if anyone is interested. I have the 10L and 20L versions. I am in southern california/Los Angeles area. DM if interested.
realtruck.com
It is owned by the same company as AMP Research (maybe other way around?). In any case they are the same or related companies.
Do the chat and negotiate your price with the customer service/chat representative. They knocked off hundreds when I purchased mine steps. I got...
Hello. Did you ever get this worked out? If so, what was the solution? The USB situation you have/had is currently happening to me...just started today.
Thanks!

I have a 1up bike carrier. The 1up will snug perfectly the hitch extension. But I have experienced some wiggle where the hitch extension connects to the Bronco. I tried a few anti-wobble items...nothing worked well. Until I found this locking hitch pin and anti wiggle pin set. This thing...
Minus the color (biased towards carbon grey), this is the best setup someone can get in a Bronco. I have a Basequatch 4 door Auto (second best setup)!
Nice Rig!
I have the same setup on my softtop. I made made two, one in the front and one in the rear. Perfect for a softtop.
But....I think the bracket being sold on this thread will work for both the hardtop and softop.
I purchased my Bronco from @EricAtKearnyMesaFord in November 2021. I just picked up a hybrid Maverick last week from @EricAtKearnyMesaFord. Purchasing from Eric and his team has been the best new car buying experiences I have ever had. Both these rigs are awesome! I recommend anyone who...
The RSE steps double as a rock slider... which is necessary on the West Coast Rocks. For a rock crawler, you will not have any issues as far as durability running the RSE steps/sliders on the rocks. For a rock crawler, you really have only one choice for an automatic steps.
Now, for the other...
