@dangerzone79 is correct. 4 door does come with 7 speed on models other than the given exceptions (OBX, FE and Wildtrak). One of Ford's many inconsistencies on their website.
Ford's website is contradictory of itself at this point which is why we need the build and price.
The website now doesn't show the rear locker as standard on the the Black Diamond but the model comparison PDF does.
Edit: Ford's website also shows the 7 speed for the base under specifications...
After seeing the videos, the Bronco Sport is more than capable of anything I will throw the Bronco at.
Two reasons I'm not even considering it though:
1) no removable roof
2) no manual transmission
Yepp! The ZF-6 had it as "low" and that's what my Grandpa's 1999 7.3 Powerstroke had and he used it to haul a 35 ft 5th wheel. That gear wasn't always used but definitely comes in handy when starting on a hill with a trailer behind you.
Congrats on the progress! And congrats on the Bronco purchase @JimmyDean
The forums have certainly been harder to follow with all the new members and outrageous number of duplicate threads/questions/arguments.
I definitely wasn't an early member here but remember simpler times when I...
That's all fine and dandy but a 285 is going to be bigger than a 33". Once a 33" is mounted on a wheel and the vehicle is sitting on it it will measure quite a bit shorter than 33".
Fantastic explanation! I have considered making this point in response to many of the posts regarding tire size and mpg but opted out because I couldn't articulate my explanation this well.
A while back there was a way to look at the reservation image and change it to any of the available colors by editing the paint code in the URL. @TheRealJyushi is correct. The Black Diamond on Ford's website is Iconic Silver based on the URL of that photo which includes the paint code.
Not necessarily, lots of people tow flatbed trailers with atvs, yard equipment etc that have with SUVs that have gvwr ratings higher than what a half-ton pickup can legally tow.
