  1. Pros/Cons for Hyperco Lift Springs vs. Foutz Lift Collars for 1-2” lift?

I’m curious to hear what people’s opinions are on pros / cons of going with Hyperco lift springs vs. lift collars (e.g Foutz) to lift/level their Raptor. What are your thoughts? TIA https://www.hypercoils.com/shop/hyp-4x-05-02-01...
  2. Bronco Raptor Catching Air @ Prairie City SVRA

I’ll get back out there at some point. Raining for the next week so it’ll be awhile. If and when I get new video, I’ll post it here. But from past experience I’d typically be in Baja mode and I don’t believe I’ve had anywhere near that much rebound. But feeling the rebound and seeing the...
  3. What to do? Ordered a Raptor Bronco and what was ordered is not what was delivered?

You’re welcome! I’m glad this worked out for you. You can buy me a beer if you’re ever in California. it always stuns me the amount of bad advice that people give on protection on these forums. Its hard to figure out what the right answer is if you’re jumping in fresh. Glad it worked out...
  4. Bronco Raptor Catching Air @ Prairie City SVRA

Yep, I got off the gas at/near departure.
  5. Bronco Raptor Catching Air @ Prairie City SVRA

    Somewhere around 50, I think!
  6. Bronco Raptor Catching Air @ Prairie City SVRA

Baja mode, maybe not. Definitely something I’ll be investigating further. One consideration is that was a pretty dang big drop. While the wheels were only a foot or so off the ground I probably dropped down 12+ feet from wheel separation to landing. It’s a lot taller than it looks on...
  7. Bronco Raptor Catching Air @ Prairie City SVRA

Actually, upon further reflection, I was probably in Normal mode. I’d been running laps in Baja when I stopped (and turned off the truck) to talk to the guy who ultimately offered to film me. Im pretty sure I didn’t re-select Baja. it seemed like a lot of rebound after watching it too many...
  8. Bronco Raptor Catching Air @ Prairie City SVRA

This was so much fun at local track yesterday…..
  9. Dealer Markups on 2024 Bronco Raptors

    I don’t think it’s possible. Maybe just over a $100k with all options on a 2024.
  10. Dealer Markups on 2024 Bronco Raptors

ADMs have just been replaced with AFMs. Additional Ford Markup. 13 months ago, ago I took delivery of a no options 2022 Raptor with an MSRP just under $70k (including delivery) I can now order a no options 2024 (including delivery and now standard Lux package) for just under $92k. Buyers...
  11. Beautiful & Functional - Monster Hooks Rock Rings

I’ve got a pair of well scraped up “giant ugly loop things” for sale. They needed to go and this one good solution. Seems like a good, clean first step to clearing the departure area. And as you say, if you carry soft shackles and a hitch point (I do too) there is really no down side to this...
  12. 12,000 lb Hidden Winch install on Bronco Raptor

I’m surprised the approach angle is unaffected, but that’s great to hear. I estimated I lost a couple degrees with my ugly as sin JCR winch plate set up. Nonetheless, you’ll want to avoid a solid shot on that mount. I was riding shotgun in a RC Hidden Winch equipped Bronco when it...
  13. If you are trying to get a raptor,

Interesting thread. Looking at what it cost Ford to build the Raptor is one way to look at what its price should be, but….. From Ford’s perspective they're looking at what 3000-5000 annual Braptor buyers are willing to pay to acquire arguably the best all around off-road performance vehicle...
  14. What to do? Ordered a Raptor Bronco and what was ordered is not what was delivered?

as others have stated your leverage is limited at this point, but I believe your best route to getting back to your original MSRP at time of order is to do a bit of research in this forum or BroncoRaptor.com on intra-year price protection. Here’s a post from a potentially helpful thread...
  15. Check this NOW if you have a 2021 Bronco -- cracks on rear control arm upper brackets

  17. NEW! Bronco Raptor ”UNI” Chase Light Mount by Fast Intentions

I just mounted 2 diode dynamics on the fast intentions bracket using the DD wiring harness. The harness ties into rear tail light to allow the lights to be used for reverse and as parking lights. It also includes a seperate harness to to tie into Aux lead so you can have lights on full time...
  18. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

I used this same stuff from Home Depot, painted it black (wasted effort as it scratches easily and who cares what it looks like while sleeping) and I wrapped edges with a cloth harness tape to avoid scratching my truck. Cost me about $5 and works perfectly in rear windows.
  19. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

i only use one side, so my solution may not work for all and you’re right it’s kind of a pain rolling up the main mattress on multi day trips. my solution. I just fold it over when I wake up and push the majority of the air out. Then cap it. I let the mostly deflated mattress float on top of...
  20. Snow Chains for my Sasquatch ? Anyone Else Use these.

Which passes are these? I’ve never had chains required. CalTrans shuts down the roads before they require 4WD to mount chains in Northern California passes (I80, US50, CA88)
