I actually like the molded gray roof. I’ve never had a vehicle with a removable roof before, but from what I have heard, the molded in color roof will hide scratches much better than the painted roof, it’s cheaper, and if I remember correctly, it’s about 50% lighter. All those seems like good...
From my understanding, if you get the hard top, you don’t get the soft top. The only way to get both tops is to go with the dual top option. I could be wrong though.
I think in my area they just aren’t popular. It’s 100+ in the summer and cold in the winter. Even the dealerships are about 90% hard top around here. I see a few soft tops, but it’s usually high schoolers with older model jeeps.
I’d say price was the main factor. The H2s started in the 60’s and the H3 started in the 30’s which back then was pretty expensive for a vehicle in their segments.
i can’t remember the last time I saw a Jeep with a soft top (granted I’m not out off roading, just regular highway, city, and neighborhood driving so that demo could be different )They all seem to have hard tops these days. I think it’s a smart move to offer the hard top standard and think it...
I thought the hummer sold pretty well. I remember seeing them all over the place back then. I checked the actual sales figures and was surprised to see how low they were. In there best years, the h2 only sold 34k and the H3 only sold 54k.
Usually cheaper models will outsell the more expensive ones so I’d expect the standard lights to me more abundant. Ford’s website says you can get the signature lights on the big bend, but I’m willing to bet that it’s either an error on their website (like the auto on the 4 dr base) or that they...
Since I haven’t seen the cactus gray in person it’s hard to say, but if I had to go just off the pictures, I’d go with avalanche gray. There’s just too much green in cactus gray in some of the pictures. I’d rather not be driving a pastel green vehicle.
Like others have mentioned, the contrast stitching is the real issue here. Everything else can be customized to your liking. I like contrast stitching, but it makes sense to offer it in a neutral color, especially since ford is giving us the ability to change out pieces. The stitching should be...
It seems like there’s just a few colors, blue, gray and orange.
First edition is gray
badlands is orange
big bend looks gray
wildtrak is blue
Black diamond is blue
outer banks is gray
base looks like it’s gray, hard to tell since the base doesn’t have grab handles
The guy pressed the button on the lift gate and expected it to open on its own ???.
I don’t mind the color. I think it looks good, especially if you get white or silver exterior.
