I’d really like to see the rear cross traffic alert be standard. Just imagine trying to back out of a parking spot in your two door bronco when you are parked between two suburbans and can’t see anything. BLIS should also be standard. Not that I need it, I can use my mirrors just fine, but it...
AMB doesn’t look good on the big bend with its gray trim. I’d imagine an AMB outer banks or wildtrak would look better with the gloss black grille and black wheels.
I’d like to see a big bend in cactus gray to see how that color works with the carbonized gray trim.
Not sure if this has been discussed, but I feel like the color matched fenders just blend in too much with the rest of the body. I think ford should offer a “gloss black appearance package” on the outer banks (or any trim really). Gloss black fenders and trim would still give the outer banks a...
The outer banks do not look good. The big bend and the outer banks both have 32’s but the smaller wheel on the big bend makes it look much better. I think I could be ok with the stance of the big bend on a 2 door, but those wheels are way too light. Give me a big bend with black roof, black...
Maybe it’s just the angle of the pic of that orange outer banks, but it seems like the 4 door needs the larger tires (33 or 35’s). The smaller tires look much better on the 2 door.
If I were buying the bronco as a weekend toy then a manual sounds great. For me though, I will be using the bronco as a daily driver and having to shift gears while sitting in traffic for an hour each day sounds terrible.
I would have preferred the big bend come with the auto standard instead...
The combination of design and materials is what makes that interior work. You can copy the design, but ford would never use those materials (too expensive). It would end up being made out of plastic and probably wouldn’t look too good.
I’m guessing by MY 2023 you should be good. There might even be some low incentives by then. Remember, the market for this type of vehicle is limited (but growing). While the bronco seems awesome to all of us here, this type of vehicle is definitely not for everyone, so while demand is extremely...
This seems like a PR move to me. Really the main people who will take advantage of this are the reservation holders since you have to order your vehicle. After the reservations are filled, I’d guess most people will buy off the dealer lot, so they won’t get to take advantage of labor savings on...
I feel like the big bend is the red headed step child of the bunch.
base - entry level low price
Big bend - ?
Black diamond - vinyl seats, rubber floors, off road equipment
Outerbanks - luxury
Badlands - rock crawler
Wildtrak - desert runner
they need to give it something to separate it from...
Kia has a supply/production problem. They only sold 58k tellurides in 2019 and they are on a similar path for 2020. For reference the explorer sold 184k in 2019. I don’t think Ford will have a supply problem. They have already said they plan on building 250k bronco and bronco sports combined. So...
I’m waiting for several reasons:
1. Let ford get all the bugs worked out. I have had a couple of first year model ford’s and they all had problems so I’m going to play it safe this time.
2. lots of Jeep owners complain about their hard tops leaking. I’d like to see if the bronco has similar...
