Corvette has a couple decades now of doing tours, with a dedicated escort, and a highly controlled flow path through the plant. Such tours are pretty easily done without prohibitive liability concerns.
In 2007, the cost for the Corvette museum delivery package (the National Corvette Museum...
Ford never suggested that the bars in the car are roll cage-level.
Remember when convertibles went extinct for a while in the '80's? New Federal standards for increased rollover protection for convertibles (basically, requiring enough structural integrity to prevent the car from pancaking...
Yep -- it would be a lot harder choice for me if I didn't have a C7 Z06 already. I'm very fortunate to have nabbed one of the last "classic" configuration Corvettes before they became extinct.
No, it won't. They'd be absolute fools (and they're not) if they didn't have a clause that allows them to change the price due to "unexpected" events - which they will interpret however necessary to avoid having to suck up an unfavorable price change.
This is not a typical dealer-slam. It's...
We also have a Kona Blue Mustang, and have viewed AMB on an F-150 in person.
The Kona is a relatively dark blue. AMB is black, except where strong incident light is causing the metalflake layer to reflect a blue hue. And the reflected blue portion of AMB is not the same as Kona Blue.
Edit...
You can bet on a V8 in the next Raptor -- a GT500 or a heavily breathed-on 7.3 or 6.8 is the only way Ford will take the HP crown back away from Ram's TRX.
I also have an F-150 w/10 sp. Your gas mileage difference is not due to the higher rpm (there may hypothetically be a *tiny* increase, but the engine speed difference is too small for any significant effect).
The decreased mpg is due to the increased wind resistance of our brick-like...
At which point you break out a couple wrenches, manually unbolt the end links, tie them out of the way, and keep on wheeling. 5 minutes, max. Not a big deal.
In any event, given the pretty darn good reliability of this type of automotive electro-hydraulic system these days, I doubt I'll ever...
Where there's a will there's a way. 3.6L V6 Jeeps have even less room, but underhood mountings are known. One Jeep approach is to put a dual ARB under the brake booster (move the inner fender liner out of the way, install on existing studs, put liner back).
After nearly 39 years, I know the right answer on that one. And besides the fact that no one else would put up with me, she's a veterinary surgeon -- waaaay too skilled with sharp and pointy things!
