I was in Moab in November and did Tower Arch and Fins n Things in the same day. Tower Arch is a good mix of easy/moderate, with a few spots that are more difficult. There are a couple of neat arches to stop and hike to, which is something I like to do. The trail is inside Arches National Park...
I developed a clunk after putting on Eibach lift springs. The springs were installed onto the struts at a shop, and I installed the struts on the Bronco. Once I got it put back together and took for a test drive I had clunks when going over bumps. Seemed like the sound was coming from the...
The wheels are Helo HE878, in satin black. However, I think they may have discontinued the wheel. The front grill is the base model grill. I haven't done anything to it.
Taller than Iād want, but itās great seeing all the different setups people have. At least this owner doesnāt have to worry crunching a fender when they stuff a tire
I've had quite a few people give me a dirty look when I pull into a handicap spot. It usually turns to a into a look of embarrassment on their face when I help my severely handicap son out of the Bronco.
It seems counter intuitive but it's a lot easier to lift him into the Bronco than it is...
My brake pedal was a little soft/squishy the first couple thousand miles, but they seemed to have firmed up since then and are now great. I might have had air in the lines that finally worked its way out. Anyway, as others have stated if they don't feel right take it in and have your dealer...
Nice work. I love the look of tube bumpers. Off topic, but are your fender flares the steel ones from Ford? Do they give more tire clearance than the Sasquatch flares?
@Kseannau and @Snacktime now that you have a little more time and miles on your tires how do you rate them? I'm looking at some 37x12.50r17 in probably either this tire or Kanati Trail Hogs.
It wasnāt too bad getting a title once I showed the folks at the DMV their own website with the steps to get a title for a specially constructed vehicle. š
Utah does not require annual inspections on trailers like this. Just pay your fee for the year and itās good to go.
I saw a few builds where people started with a 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer, but it wasnāt quite big enough for what I needed. A 5x10 trailer would be a good starting point. It doesnāt like itās that much bigger, but itās over 50% larger than a 4x8.
I bought the trailer fenders. I thought about making them, but when I looked at the price for a sheet of aluminum diamond plate it just made sense to buy pre-made fenders.
