Just officially swapped my FE to Granger. Easy 5 min call with Ford. Granger or bust! I asked her why my emails say reservation of 7/14 even tho I reserved 7/13. She assured me it says 7/13 under my reservation so thats good.

Good thread. The biggest mistake I keep seeing is MSRP vs Invoice. "Well my dealer said they can do $1000 under MSRP". Yeah that's not the same!

PPF? :) On a serious note tho.. I have said it before.. I really want to use Granger and I hope it all works out. Albert and the team have been great and I have one reservation there. Just a little gun shy to move my other as I know it's a "one time thing" and a lot of info to still come out.

I also read somewhere that Granger will give an extra $300 or something if you have X Plan. That could definitely help the cost sheet. I just wish there was a way to ship directly to GA even if I have to pay for it. I am more worried about getting a ding on the 2nd transport down than...

It doesn't. Ford has confirmed its 3500 max in all configurations. A big miss if you ask me.

I think it stems from the "official forum dealer" saying they could ship anywhere directly from the factory during early threads.

Sounds like a great plan in theory since you're paying $1495 already. I would definitely pay a local dealer $500 vs $1000+ for shipping. My next door neighbor is old college roomies w/ the owner of a big Ford dealer here (Wade Ford). Trying to see if he'll do it for me.

I'm not sure of the cost implications I just know one of the other dealers was offering that scenario so I figured I would ask. Maybe the are part of a bigger dealer network (Sonic, Penske, etc) that allows them to use sister dealers. Not sure.
