Yes it is a serious issue, no it was t quiet. I got snail mail and it shows up in my Ford Pass account. I would check that your addresses are up to date with Ford and you have the FP app.

Yep, my custom winch mount has two 2" receivers, Factor 55 shackle mounts or a ball mount fit. Lots of reinforcement behind the frame horns. You could forgo the winch on top and build a double receiver removable winch plate. This would be a lot stronger for side loads than a single mount
