  1. Caught up in the hype......

If MY23 Broncos are 3 years away, this program is even more screwed up than I realized.
  2. Caught up in the hype......

Not going to wait "forever", just going to wait until the '23 model year, when this MY21-MY22 cluster-f has been overcome.....
  3. Caught up in the hype......

Like many of you, I've been following the intro closely, developing different builds, anxiously awaiting any new "revelations". And, suddenly I'm swept back to 1981......and Ford's "The Boss is Back" campaign putting the 302 back into the Mustang after a couple of years of anemic 255 cu in V8s...
  4. Invoice=msrp??

4-door Base is shown there at $33,200, versus current B&P of $34,795. Who knows what the final, final numbers will be....
  5. Moisture in the headlights and more Area 51 in person

Behold.....a drop of water (although, a lot of commenters on this thread might have been smashed. It was a tough weekend).
  6. ?Cactus Gray Black Diamond with steel wheels (2-Door)

I see what you did there.....
  7. Black 4-Door Black Diamond w/ Steel Wheels

Love steelies..... Not just for crap spares anymore!
  8. ?Cactus Gray Black Diamond with steel wheels (2-Door)

I will have steel wheels on my Bronco, whether I stick with Base or end up going with Black Diamond...... but I wish Ford would have developed a 17 inch, six-spoke variation of the design used on Police Interceptors. The Bronco steelie is the common design used as the spare wheel on many, many...
  9. ?Cactus Gray Black Diamond with steel wheels (2-Door)

Looks great. I would swap the chrome Bronco emblem on the tailgate for a black one, though.
  10. I saw the fabled Allen Park MI, Cyber Orange Badlands.....and it was Glorious!

Next time someone passes by ol' #97, take a peek in the lower driver's side windshield area and see if the unit has a VIN number. If it does, is the 10th position an "M", or an "N"?
  11. Why not offer Sabre Orange?

I was around in the 60s. I remember hot Ginger.
  12. What sort of weird things are you cross shopping the bronco with?

I'll probably be cross-shopping the 2022 Bronco against the 2022 Bronco. If it needs to be a replacement for our current 2017 Explorer limited, it will need to be a 4-door 2.7 Auto with Mid Package or higher. The 5'3" wife would probably want the OBX. If, on the other hand, we keep the...
  13. What Will the 2021 Bronco and the 1964 1/2 Mustang Have in Common?

Backup lights were an option on all 1965 Mustangs (early build, so-called "64-1/2" Mustangs, as well as the later 1965s). They became a federally-mandated standard feature for the 1966 model year.
  14. What Will the 2021 Bronco and the 1964 1/2 Mustang Have in Common?

I has a 1965 VIN number, much like the "non-existent" 2021 Bronco will end up having a 2022 VIN number.
  15. What will the '21 Bronco and '83 Corvette have in common?

I think you are probably right.....in that although those first-year Mustangs were being sold in April of 1964, they were given 1965 U.S. standard VIN numbers. Assuming Bronco manufacturing gets going sometime in the spring of 2021.......they may get 2022 VIN numbers and in the end there may...
