Test drove the Ranger 2.3 and did not like it. Test Drove the F150 2.7 and loved it.
That being said Both these engines are more than capable Truck engines. Both these engines had to meet Ford Truck engine standards. My Wife's 2012 F150 CC 3.5 ecoboost is 9 years old runs like new, looks new...
ALL IN. The end of May is when we should be getting our build dates per Ford and then I will know when to sell my Focus ST. Looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a Bronco once again!!!
Read the entire thread and it make no sense. Ford has built Bronco on a body on Frame, a Truck Frame, T6. One of the hardest things you can do to a 4x4 purpose built vehicle is put the Front tires up against 18 inch rocks or larger and climb over and over again. Does the Edge ST have a Rock Goat...
The picture of the 60 in no way looks like it will fit in a rear wheel drive. Looks like FWD Tranny to me.

Sorry but there is so much a driver can not do that the Goat modes do. A good driver or pilot uses technology to their advantage. It makes them a better driver or pilot. Bronco will one day have live valve shocks that will independently stiffen or soften depending on the input from the computer...
Long time driver of an 2012 F150 3.5 Crew Cab Lariat I have learned you can have either Eco or Boost. We were always able to get 23 mpg on the Freeway. 9 years + and still runs like new. Looking forward to the 2.7.
