  1. Broke the axle on my Badlands Bronco... pics and video

I call bullshit! There's no snow in MOAB (for the most part). My brand new 2016 Rubicon broke the stub shaft the first time I went wheeling and locked the front diff when I got stuck. It's not an IFS issue, it's a snow wheeling issue. Many people underestimate the stress put on the system with...
  2. Using the Bronco the way they (somewhat) intended in ‘66 -- farm, ranch, agriculture

I have the same bumper. Comes with relocations for camera and active radar and uses existing park sensors. Only issue I've encounters is that you can't use a body lift with it. The bumper is attached to the frame and the edges curve around the fender flares. You can raise the body without the...
  3. Armor for your Bronco: ARB’s Under Vehicle Protection System / Skid Plates

Here are the color instructions. May be a bit easier to read.
  4. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

The numbers don't die but you obviously have never wheeled a Bronco through a tight trail. Here's what the numbers don't tell you: You can't take the mirrors off. You can fold them in, but they pop back out every time you open the door. Even folded in they stick out 4-5" further than the...
  5. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

I figured. My issue is that I'm on the East coast of Canada so the majority of the trails are in the woods and are usually cut to fit a Jeep. The Bronco is considerably wider.
  6. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

Sorry? I can't hear you over 2 bent rock rails, 2 smashed mirrors, a tree dent in my door and a broken axle. How hard are you going?
  7. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

Not sure which update fixed it but I'm on 3.5.4
  8. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

Holy shit, did an OTA update actually just fix my heat? Got in the Bronco yesterday and noticed an over-the-air update updated my display/nav with new features. Then on the drive I noticed my feet getting warm. Today I set the vents to floor only, turned up the fan and got heat in the driver...
  9. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

@Ford Motor Company Look at this thread. Please explain how "no heat in footwell" is a normal operating characteristic? How has such a wide-spread issue not been more looked into?
  10. Airaid Snorkel is coming soon - first look

If you're putting a snorkel on your Bronco, keep in mind your alternator is much lower than your stock air intake. High water will kill your alternator way before it gets sucked into your engine.
  11. This axle look seated to you?

Long story short, broke the passenger side front axle and had it replaced under warranty. No issues until I did some light offroading in 4x4 and now I'm getting some random crackling and popping. Not sure if it's the axle shaft or maybe a loose swaybar link or my ball screw eating the end of the...

  14. Guess what I am doing ??

    Posting on a forum. :)
  15. Hey Fabricators! Quick Disconnect Mirrors... Do it up!

Interesting, and it looks like all the electronics funnel into a single plug. I'll have to check it out this weekend.
  16. Hey Fabricators! Quick Disconnect Mirrors... Do it up!

I haven't looked at how the mirrors area actually mounted under the hood, but if I could disconnect the mirror electronics and remove a couple bolts under the hood/cowling, that would be enough for me.
  17. Hey Fabricators! Quick Disconnect Mirrors... Do it up!

I would think it would be expensive, but more from creating quick disconnect connectors for the electronics. In my mirrors there's the power adjustment, camera, lights and heating. Then again, what mod these days ISN'T expensive. I would also assume that a mirror would be pretty expensive to...
  18. Hey Fabricators! Quick Disconnect Mirrors... Do it up!

I'm on the East Coast of Canada and much of our trails involve tight, twisty trails through the woods. The overall width of the Bronco has made things interesting but manageable but the mirrors, oh god the mirrors stick out, even when folded in. And if you fold them in, they pop back out every...
  19. Comparison: Bronco vs Jeep (spoiler) Bronco hate by LiteBrite

Fine, we'll shit on both! Gotta rile up the masses to make sure we stay relevant!
  20. Comparison: Bronco vs Jeep (spoiler) Bronco hate by LiteBrite

Only if we get to shit on Broncos! lol
