    How did you install without drilling? The gatorback YouTube video and instructions both say you have to drill for both steel and plastic bumper. I have the steel bumper and I had a look at it and it definitely looks like it needs to be drilled.

    I'm reading that some people say you don't have to drill the bumper to install these, others say you do. Some say you don't have to remove the wheel. Seems like it would be hard to drill without removing the wheel. Mine are on order and just wondering what to expect here in terms of install.

    No it just needs bluetooth and android auto downloaded on the phone to be able to connect to android auto

    I can confirm if you use an android phone and go to full screen android auto, then back to the carlinkit it will go full screen. Kinda dumb, but it works. I had an old Pixel laying around.

    I had tried this a few times on my own going from my iphone carplay back to the device full screen and it didn't work. Mine didn't do the "rebooting for screen resolution" thing. I updated mine to the latest firmware first though.

    This is what he sent to me in a PM: " Ok so 1st, you need to pair yer phone either android auto or yapple play, then choose wide-screen icon, then select apps from the tray, then select tbox. The Box will boot up and then say something like rebooting for screen resolution. Then wait 20 seconds...
