You can increase the power and the output will increase, however compared to a regular non SAE light, they will never be as bright. You can compare a DD SAE max to a regular SS3 max and see it for yourself, SAE is very limiting
The S1s are not available in SAE so they are technically not road legal, but whoās really checking š SAE pods are also severely limiting in light output too, FWIW.
There is no backlit option on the S1s. The screw heads come in a stainless finish. The reason for that is the black oxide hardware is prone to getting messed up during install, then rusting. Same reason we switched to stainless hardware on our tailgate reinforcement.
