So I finally have my Bronco back!!! Dealership was able to install the parts and confirm it was a bad solenoid. They dropped it off to me on Tuesday and it’s been driving great ever since!

So I’m (somewhat) caught up. The seal finally arrived on Monday and they got it installed and test driven and detailed, trailing over into Tuesday morning. My sales guy asked if he could bring it to me and he delivered it to me at work where we made the exchange. He brought me a few goodies and...

Ours $799 and now I’m feeling some type of way about it. šŸ˜…

A bad solenoid requiring a new front axle assembly. I’ll post a better update latter but I literally couldn’t sleep until I provided the good news šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚

I’ve got a solid 50 pages to catch up on but after 23 days I GOT MY BRONCO BACK TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

That’s awesome!!!! I…. was told now they’re missing a seal. That’s on galactic back order. But they got another dealer to overnight it so now at least Monday for me…. šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
  7. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

That’s pretty much what I told the dealership yesterday. Like this isn’t giving me great confidence in the longevity of this vehicle.
  8. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

Update: The original issue identified was that the FDRS software identified 2 modules as failing a network test. Per the wiring diagrams (in the workshop manual?) these two modules should be on 2 different networks, however they were coming up on the same network, which wasn't either of the...

I wish. So far my dealership has been nice, but a lot of we'll get through it! They installed my door sill plates for me. The worst part is THEY STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT!!!!! Ok now that I got that out. The original issue identified was that the FDRS software identified 2...

Y’all like…. I can’t. I just… the part came in broken. The front axle, which arrived Friday and was waiting for additional pieces to be installed, was broken THE WHOLE TIME, and they found it when they went to fix my truck…… still no Bronco. Part ordered again ā€œovernighted.ā€ 17 days and counting….

You cannot, if you’re talking about the Ford accessories site discounts. The point shave to be done through the dealer and they don’t honor that websites deals. I ordered my floor mats today with my points and trying to get a price to use the remainder on the 4 dr cargo mat we talked about it.

For real. @Jazer I feel like we need a badge that’s one of those ā€œI Survivedā€ styles. I Survived Ordering the Bronco? Bronco Purgatory? Bronco Wilderness (because I feel like this whole process is akin to wandering the desert with no map, unsure if you see water or just an illusion. )

I’m flabbergasted that you don’t have yours. It just doesn’t make any sense….
  14. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

That’s helpful stuff! I’ll watch these. If they’re referring to an electrically driven pin that may help connect the dots on how we got from a computer glitch last week to replacing the front axle this week.
  15. Sad Day..... Bronco towed away for transmission issue

You’re awful quick make assumptions on multiple threads. OP specified using 4wd on icy roads and I, a) never stated anything about driving conditions or driving in 4wd at all, b) don’t even have 4A, as you assumed in your other comment, and c) actually included a video showing it’s in 2H that I...
  16. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

Which is the only saving grace at this point. I feel like since I’ve purchased mine they have some accountability to me, but even though you’re stuck with just as long of a wait they might be like, we’ll it’s still our car…. This is definitely a case of sucks all around.
  17. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

I wasn’t. I don’t even have 4A. As far as I’m aware it was in 2H, which is the default.
  18. Sad Day..... Bronco towed away for transmission issue

This does sound similar to my issue. They’ve had mine for over 2 weeks now and have apparently decided to replace the front axle to solve a solenoid issue. I don’t think they actually know what they’re doing. We’re 2 Ford specialists in at this point...
  19. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

At this point I’m not sure if you’re worse off because you haven’t actually taken delivery yet, or if I am because I’ve paid for a car I’m not driving…. Like hello Ford…
  20. Bronco Towed at 310 Miles - Powertrain Malfunction/Service Vehicle/Check 4x4

šŸ˜‘ the parts still didn’t come in. So I guess that’s also a no update. The Ford Rep didn’t tell me anything other than that she had talked to my service rep at the dealership and they were still waiting on parts.
